Dear Emily @PatriotQakes and Hawk Eyes @b_avis, Thank you so much for a great call, for coming up with simple metaphors and images to make the concepts understandable (e.i: the jacket for wrapped assets, genius!). To me the best teachers are not those who know the most, but those that can explain complex matters in a way they become simple. Personally I was so happy because for the first two hours I understood everything 😌🙃 and I could follow the call till the end without difficulty. Life is a whole. We may be very good in some spheres, and struggle in others. For me, socializing and understanding feelings are easy, so I am naturally good in subjects like sociology, psychology and human relationships are On the other side of the spectrum, I struggle with finances and technology. What a combination to start studying the SQFS 😅. Some weeks ago, in the middle of my "unicorn crisis" I felt I was starting to fall behind in this key area of QSI (Technology). Of course, that feeling opened the Pandora box on FOMO. Fear is not the best motivation for action, and yet at times it can be a first messy step in the right direction, so what I did was to start watching YouTube videos about the basic stuff (what is Blockchain, ledger technology, a smart contract, etc.). As I did, I realized something important that I had thought about when I studied law. I think this can help some people in QSI. 80% of the ability to comprehend a specific field has to do with understanding the vocabulary. In law, for example if you read documents full of words like Subpoena and rebus sic stantibus, after a while you will give up. It will sound cryptic and unintelligible. Lawyers are sometimes paid gross amounts of money because they have studied many years to just understand what the words mean. And yet, these words have meanings that are not difficult: Subpoena ➡️ somebody needs to appear in Court Rebus sic stantibus ➡️ There is a change of circumstances that affect a contract. So, for all those who "struggle" or (like I thought about myself) are "bad" with the technology, something that may help isxstart by focusing on the main words: smart contracts, Blockchain, DAO, ISO 20022. Once you realize the meaning is not obscure and complicated, but commonsensical and simple: things need to have a common standard, contracts that are automatic, things are decided in group by agreement, etc, understanding STELLAR will seem easier. The images that Emily and Hawk Eyes create help a lot. Thank you Hawk Eyes for the open source = open kitchen. I got it!!! Once you have these basic concepts, each being a block, you can create your own STELLAR learning Blockchain, seeing how they are connected and interrelate. And one day, as it happened to me, the heavy "I can't" , "I will never learn this" will naturally transform into: "this is not as difficult as I thought 💭" And soon enough into: "I got it" 🥳🥳🥳🥰🥰🥰 You got this QSI 🎇✨💫⭐️. The first step is always the most difficult (facing the rear or inner block). I know you will take it ❤️☺️🥰.
