New Substack Article: "The Liminal Aesthetics of Paladin Press: Or, Do Zoomers Dream of Ruby Ridge?"

Happy Christmas, and a joyful Yule to you all. May 2024 bring you everything you need and wish for.
Repost from The Woodlander
Once again Morgoth hammers the nail of truth. If this year has been the year of turning away, then next year really will be a return to the forest.

Repost from Privacy & Security Goys
On 24 July 2023, researchers of the Dutch security firm Midnight Blue revealed that they had found five vulnerabilities in the authentication and encryption algorithms of the TETRA radio network, which is used in the critical infrastructure of more than 100 countries. Two of the vulnerabilities are deemed critical. One of them appears to be an intentional backdoor.

Unfortunately on closer reading it looks like the backdoor for this is limited to TETRA systems using the algorithm for commercial and export use. Still, though... LOL

Here we see the BBC running as shills again for the glowies to drum up business with academia and contractors. I was hoping for a little history on covert RF transmitters, but instead only learn that their engineers have named their 3D printers after Star Wars characters.
This should tell you everything about the mentality of the people who surveil us. The banality extends beyond the geek culture of the gadget engineer, and into the core of the surveillance industry.
Whilst the upper echelons of intelligence likely retain elements of highly functional psychopathy, the story is different on the lower rungs. The dissident's adversary is often no longer an ideologically motivated and ruthless intelligence officer, battle hardened through former combat experience with an eloquent flair borne from a classical education. Now it's a slightly overweight bloke called Gerald who collects Funko Pop dolls in between Netflix binges.
Jail time for refusing to disclose passwords is called "rubber hose decryption". The longest, most entropy laden password in the world won't help you if you're facing 12 months on the wing with Jamal and Tyrone for refusing to give it up.
More people need to become familiar with the concept of plausible deniability when applied to encryption. This focuses on the use of encrypted "hidden" volumes placed within larger "visible" volumes, with each volume having its own password. Save your spicier files, such as your rare translation of Oswald Spengler's manual on forbidden ninjitsu techniques, onto the "hidden" volume. Save something relatively innocuous to act as a bit of chicken feed (pirated anime and Jordan Peterson PDFs) onto the "visible" volume.
When your door flies in at 4am for bullying Ben Shapiro, you then give up the password to the "visible" outer volume. Since the smaller "hidden" volume just appears like regular, but encrypted, free space on the outer volume, there's very little the police can do to prove there are other files in the encrypted container. Full on glowie outfits will probably have ways around this, but unless you're up there with Victor Bout you're probably not that juicy a target.
Stay smart. Stay safe.

Not letting the police read every message & see every picture sent between you & your wife will send you to prison for 12 months.
A number of years ago, on a now defunct channel, I experimented with creating some propaganda videos. Pretty crude stuff, but thought this could be of interest.
>TFW you experiment with JS8 Call protocol by boosting power to maintain a transatlantic contact, and end up knocking out your neighbours' electronics in their heating system just before winter.
I need to reposition my antennas...
A major issue that discourages people from picking up HF radio as an alternative means of comms is the perceived requirement for huge antenna lengths. So, whilst carrying out some experiments and research for another planned RADCOM article ("Digital Modes: Based or Cringe?"), I started to consider how the item in the picture above could be of use for the fledgling operator.
This is a multi-band magnetic loop antenna. If you're interested in taking up HF radio, but have issues surrounding available space or are, heaven forbid, an apartment dweller, then this could be a solution. Note the pros and cons-
Pros:
-Small and compact. Coupled with lower power ratings, they are far more clandestine and can lend themselves quite nicely to the use of weak signal digital modes for bursts of text transmission when evading the powers that be.
-Quieter on receive. Operates on the magnetic portion of the EMF wave, so background electrical interference from LEDs, appliance power / charging transformers, etc, is greatly reduced.
-Can easily be used indoors with minimal setup. Perfect for anons still stuck in the city pod.
Cons:
-Very restricted bandwidth (you'll need to re-tune with each frequency shift)
-Substantially reduced power efficiency on the lowest bands for your particular mag-loop.
-The tuning capacitor can charge in excess of 30,000 volts when on transmit. Practically like having a live taser pistol in your apartment living room. Not girlfriend or animal friendly. This may actually be a pro.
A magnetic loop antenna (not my pic). Lengthy commentary provided below because I'm not paying Durov to expand the character limit for captions. ππ»
"Ultimately, the journo drive for supervision, censorship, and fact checking βmisinformationβ leads inevitably to a world of total supervision. No one is free to do anything without their approval β and with their ability to direct hostile coverage and moral outrage against enemies, journos as a class hold all the power. Whatβs worse, what the media calls misinformation is often the objective truth. Thereβs plenty of power in controlling who gets to tell the truth, but real power is in forcing people to believe lies." - Operative 413
Repost from Operation Werewolf Official
Less article and more full-on manifesto, Operative 413 returns with a scathing piece on journalists as the priests of ruin:
"All of us face a mortal threat from journalists. You could be an
artist who wants to sell your work online.
You could be a streamer who wants to speak to your audience about his ideas.
You could be a musician who wants to share your work
independently. You could be someone with a 9-5 who made an ill-advised post on social media years ago.
You might not have
even βdoneβ something yourself, but simply know the wrong
person.
Your financial security, and that of your family, is now
in the hands of the most resentful, hypocritical, and
emotionally unstable caste that has ever existed β and these
people think they can dictate morality to your entire society."
