It is common for children with anxiety to have co-occurring mental health issues, neurodevelopmental conditions, speech and language problems, and learning difficulties.11 As such, it is essential to assess for possible comorbidities in children with anxiety. **Anxiety can contribute to learning difficulties in several ways.
