The executive orders in question 13848 and 13912, neither of them will initiate COOP or (COG). Executive Order 13848 (EO13848) was authorized under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). The EO imposed sanctions, IEEPA is part of the National Emergency Act but EO13848 was separate from NEA as it pertained to sanctions in response to foreign interference so it falls under IEEPA. As for EO 13912, as it was a national emergency, it was directly related to COVID and applied to National health systems and the national guard and reserves were used in support of healthcare system and its infrastructure. If you look at his reference, the military justice act, it only mentions Commander-in-Chief twice. And both times it says “ the Constitution to provide for the common defense, gives Congress power to raise, support and regulate the armed forces, but makes the President commander and chief of the armed forces.” Which means the president is the commander-in-chief. Do both positions have different tasks that that one person may perform absolutely. But it is one person. It is the president of United States only. Furthermore again, I will reference the law of war manual the same reference Derek uses. The problem is he goes right to 11.3 that’s 11 sections of information that he just skips over and cherry picks out of 11.3. Section 1.1.1 third paragraph, it states “this manual is not intended to, and does not, create any rate or benefit, substantive, or procedural, enforceable at law, or in equity against the United States, its departments, agencies, or other entities, its officers, or employees, or any other person.“ So now, then, with this evidence just right here, his theory is completely destroyed. First off continuity of government as you know, now was not initiated. That means his claim of martial law is null in void done can’t happen. That should end right here that’s it. Developing your critical thinking skills would be a good starting point. Engage in activities that foster critical thinking, such as evaluating arguments, scrutinizing evidence, and challenging prevailing assumptions. To stay informed, seek out diverse and reliable sources of information. Research topics that pique your interest, expand your knowledge base, providing a well-rounded understanding of other perspectives. The key to this is diversity and reliability of sources. Mindfulness is another practice to consider. Cultivate the habit of being fully present, engaging wholeheartedly with your surroundings. This sharpens your observational skills, enabling you to discern details, detect patterns, and draw connections that might otherwise go unnoticed. Reflect on your personal values and goals.
