Ukraine's feed barley prices continued to decline – APK-Inform According to APK-Inform, downward price trends continued to do
Ukraine's feed barley prices continued to decline – APK-Inform Ā  According to APK-Inform, downward price trends continued to dominate Ukraine's feed barley market this week. Ā  ā€œThe factors putting pressure on prices remain unchanged: fairly active supply of the grain, subdued demand from both domestic consumers and traders, and corresponding trends in related markets,ā€ experts said. Ā  As of September 4, bid prices for feed barley had fallen by another UAH 100-300 per ton since the beginning of the week and were mostly in the range of UAH 5,500-6,700 per ton CPT. āž”ļø More news on our website

Ukraine's new-crop corn export prices for early 2027 delivery rose slightly – APK-Inform According to APK-Inform, bid prices
Ukraine's new-crop corn export prices for early 2027 delivery rose slightly – APK-Inform Ā  According to APK-Inform, bid prices for new-crop feed corn for January-February delivery increased on the Ukrainian export market this week. Ā  Experts said the decline in prices for nearer delivery periods was driven by a combination of logistical and fundamental factors. In particular, quotas for grain trains to the western border have been almost fully booked for other crops, while transport costs are expected to surge in October-December. In addition, seasonal pressure from the new-crop harvest in Ukraine is being compounded by the blockade of Black Sea ports. European prices are also under pressure from a temporary influx of cheaper corn from South America and the start of the harvest in Europe. Ā  A rising trend is emerging for more distant delivery periods. Heat has caused the EU's largest corn deficit in 19 years, supporting strong long-term demand for Ukrainian corn. Due to the blockade of deep-water ports, buyers are shifting to the western border and limited domestic consumption. Prices are also supported by the new EU tariff-rate quotas (TRQs) taking effect in the new year and farmers' reluctance to sell, as they are unwilling to lock in current low prices and are waiting for prices to rise in the future. Currently, bid prices for new-crop feed corn for January-February delivery are mostly quoted at EUR 192-198 per ton FCA Chop, up EUR 1-2 per ton from the end of last week. āž”ļø More news on our website

Ukraine's feed wheat export prices resumed decline – APK-Inform Ā  According to APK-Inform data, bid prices for feed wheat at Ukraine's Danube ports resumed their decline this week after moderate changes last week. Ā  The decline in prices for the crop was driven by increased attacks on port infrastructure and the subsequent sharp rise in logistics and freight costs. The blockade of deep-water ports has resulted in domestic grain supply significantly exceeding the capacity of available routes. This has led to long queues of grain trucks and vessels, which are further delayed by regular air raid alerts. Another factor is that buyers are covering their current needs, prompting them to lower their buying indications. As a result, significant unsold grain stocks are building up in the country, continuing to put pressure on prices. Ā  At the Danube ports, feed wheat buying prices fell by $5-7 per ton during the reporting period and, as of September 2, were quoted in the range of $152-160 CPT port. āž”ļø More news on our website

Ukraine begins quoting prices for new-crop corn – APK-Inform Ā  Last week, the Ukrainian feed corn market saw some price declines, according to experts at APK-Inform. Ā  As noted, subdued demand from most buyers, large carryover stocks and the start of the harvest in some regions of the country continued to put pressure on prices. Trading activity remained low throughout the week. Ā  ā€œSome buyers have also started quoting indicative prices for new-crop corn in the range of UAH 6,400-7,200 per ton, excluding delivery costs,ā€ the agency said. Ā  Overall, bid prices for feed corn ranged from UAH 6,700 to 8,500 per ton CPT during the week. At Ukrainian ports, prices for the grain fell by another $2-5 per ton and were in the range of $173-180 per ton CPT port. āž”ļø More news on our website

Mixed price trends seen in Ukraine's feed wheat market – APK-Inform Ā  According to experts at APK-Inform, Ukraine saw mixed price trends in the feed wheat segment last week. Ā  As specified, prices mainly increased in the western region of the country due to insufficiently active grain deliveries. Ā  ā€œPrices for milling wheat remained almost unchanged. Demand from most consumers remained fairly high, but most of them continued to buy wheat in small volumes, without building up large stocks. Flour millers were also in no hurry to purchase raw materials, facing difficulties in selling finished products,ā€ the agency said. Ā  Bid prices for Class 2 and feed wheat during the week stood at UAH 6,400-8,100 per ton and UAH 5,300-7,500 per ton CPT, respectively. Ā  At Ukrainian ports, prices for milling wheat moved in different directions and were mostly in the range of $167-175 per ton CPT port. Feed wheat prices edged up and settled at $159-165 per ton CPT port. āž”ļø More news on our website

No significant price adjustments in Ukraine’s rapeseed market so far – APK-Inform Ā  There were no significant price adjustments in Ukraine’s domestic rapeseed market last week. APK-Inform experts reported this. Ā  According to them, processors’ bid prices for oilseeds during the week were in the range of UAH 19,500-21,500 per ton CPT. Ā  ā€œRapeseed processing rates remained quite high in the second half of August, but some plants reported that they had stopped purchasing the oilseed: some enterprises continue to operate using stocks already accumulated, while others are shutting down for scheduled maintenance ahead of the sunflower seed intake,ā€ the statement said. Ā  In the export rapeseed market, prices adjusted within a range of $5-10 per ton under the influence of demand and the availability of alternative routes. At the same time, due to inactive shipments through Danube ports amid shelling, low water levels and queues on the Sulina Canal, bid prices fell to $470-490 per ton CPT-port. āž”ļø More news on our website
