After leaving Unit 81, Alon worked as a senior computer engineer at Amazon and Microsoft before founding two startup companies.
In 2023 Alon began using the name Allison and started treatment for gender dysphoria. He also began abusing narcotics, including methamphetamine. In September 2024, while apparently under the influence of meth, Alon began to suspect that an acquaintance was spiking his water bottle with GHB and stealing from his home. Alon and a friend named Brian Levy armed themselves with two handguns, including one equipped with a sound suppressor, and kidnapped the acquaintance (identified only as M.P. in court records) and interrogated him at gunpoint for several hours.
When a police officer knocked on the door of the apartment, Alon answered it and M.P. used the opportunity to shout for help, which quickly led to Alon and Levy's arrest. Alon was convicted on charges of making a criminal threat against a person with deadly weapon, kidnapping, and drug possession and sentenced to two-to-six years in prison, while Levy received one-to-five years.
In December 2025, Alon sued the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, demanding a transfer to the women's prison. However, he remained in the original facility until earlier this month.
On August 19th, 2026, Alon completed a minimum state sentence and was granted parole in Concorde, New Hampshire, according to court filings. Corrections personnel released him directly into ICE custody the following day. Alon is currently in an immigration detention facility in Georgia. | 2 817 |
