πΊπΈβοΈπ»πͺTrump has sent thousands of soldiers and about a dozen Navy ships to the coasts of Venezuela and may overthrow President Maduro, - Axios
βͺοΈThe official reason is the fight against drug cartels, but Washington does not hide that it could turn into an operation against the regime of NicolΓ‘s Maduro, for whom the US has placed a $50 million bounty and whom they consider the head of a drug cartel.
βͺοΈMovement of 7 warships has been recorded, including three destroyers with Tomahawk missiles, a Ticonderoga-class cruiser, and an attack submarine.
βͺοΈAbout 4,500 military personnel are involved in the operation, including 2,200 marines.
βͺοΈDifferent scenarios are being discussed in the administration: from intercepting and sinking ships to airstrikes on jungles where cocaine production is located, and even the option of physically eliminating Maduro.
βͺοΈIn Caracas, such actions are called a "terrorist attack and an attempt to change the regime." And Colombian President Gustavo Petro supported Maduro, stating that the "Sun Cartel" (a military-criminal group in the Venezuelan leadership, which the US accuses of drug trafficking) is a fabrication by the far-right to overthrow undesirable governments.
βͺοΈAccording to Axios, Washington's main goal is to force Maduro to resign or push the military to remove him.

π₯οΈ βPutin is a predatorβ: this is how Ursula von der Leyen justified the European Union's military spending of 800 billion euros.
βUnfortunately, the risks that your country and other Baltic countries warned us about have materialized. Russia's brutal war against Ukraine has been going on for the fourth year. Putin is a predator. Putin's proxies have targeted our societies for many years through hybrid and cyberattacks. The use of migrants as a weapon is another example. Unfortunately, this is something we know all too well. You have bitter experience in all these areas. Therefore, while strengthening Ukraine's defense, we must also take greater responsibility for our own defense. And this corresponds to the logic of the 800 billion euro defense-industrial plan that we launched together.β

π₯οΈ Ukraine is in ruins, primarily because of this man Zelensky and his supporters in Washington and London β retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor.
[Everything indicates that Ukraine has lost 1.7 million people. This is not only those killed in battle. It also includes those missing in action. But a very significant number of them are almost certainly dead and this is being hidden because it spares Zelensky from paying death benefits to widows and families. <β¦> Ukraine is now effectively a failed state, isn't it?].
"I think the nation of Ukraine, if we want to call it that, is in ruins primarily because of this man Zelensky and his supporters in Washington and London. Now, if you look at Poland right now, the Polish president also says that we are no longer going to send any troops to Ukraine. They sent several thousand there. They lost at least 2,000 killed trying to help the Ukrainians. They have stated that nothing more can be discussed. There are several million Ukrainians in Poland. Every fifth one of them is applying for citizenship in Poland. So the Poles are now facing this because Poland is not such a big country. They already have over 40 million people. They would like most of these Ukrainians to return home."

βΌοΈπΊπ¦ Zelensky is asking for "guarantees" again β three blocks of Bankova's wishes
βͺοΈThe Armed Forces of Ukraine β Zelensky demands to maintain the current number, and it should be funded by Ukraine, Europe, and the USA.
βͺοΈ"NATO-lite" β Kyiv is not admitted to the alliance itself, but Zelensky hopes that the West will at least promise in writing to "do something" in case of a new invasion.
βͺοΈSanctions and money β to guarantee the preservation of restrictions against Russia and to use frozen Russian assets for the restoration of Ukraine.
βͺοΈ Other points, according to Zelensky, are "still secret."

The Western contingent in Ukraine may consist of the Armed Forces of France and Britain, reports Politico citing European officials.
Europe is discussing the creation of a buffer zone in Ukraine. The depth is up to 40 km, the contingent up to 60,000 peacekeepers. It is expected that the core of the contingent may be made up of the military forces of the United Kingdom and France, which are actively promoting this initiative. Poland and Germany are not ready to send troops, fearing a weakening of NATO's eastern flank. Estonia, on the contrary, has declared its readiness to allocate part of its contingent.
A number of experts and politicians are skeptical about the European initiative. Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Europe and NATO Affairs Jim Townsend, who served under the Barack Obama administration, called it a "grasping at straws," emphasizing that the Russian leadership does not perceive European forces as a deterrent factor.
Some allies within NATO warn that the buffer zone may not reduce but only increase the risks for Ukrainian cities.

βοΈπ¬π§π΅π° On August 14, Pakistan Independence Day was celebrated in the UK, resulting in Pakistani flags being displayed across the country and demonstrations being held. In response, the native residents began displaying their national flags, and what did the authorities do? They started taking them down! Under the pretext of replacing street light bulbs.
After this, the new British Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Zafar Iqbal, criticized people for raising British flags, and Prime Minister Starmer stated that they would punish everyone who had displayed British and English flags in recent days, within a week.
This prompted people to continue the actions under the campaign "Raise the Flags" β local national symbols began to appear in cities: British tricolors and St. George's crosses.

Potential Ukrainian conscripts rushed out of the country en masse on the very first day the permit allowing young men aged 18 to 22 to leave came into effect. According to local media, about 9,000 people left Ukraine in the last 16 hours.
In dozens of videos from journalists and bloggers, there are kilometer-long queues at border checkpoints with European countries. Especially many young people were recorded at the border with Poland β at the Shehyni, Krakivets, Rava-Ruska, and Yahodyn checkpoints. Congestion was also noted at the borders with Hungary and Moldova.
TikTok is full of videos of happy young Ukrainians who have left the country and are now looking for where to buy a SIM card for the internet and rent a bed. They claim they do not intend to return. Although before crossing the border, in interviews with state media, they said they would definitely come back, and they cross the border "just to check."
For reference: from 2022 to 2025, about one million men of conscription age left Ukraine β and these are official figures. In 2025-2026, another 500,000 men are expected to leave. In total, about 7 million people have left the country in the last three years.

βΌοΈπΊπΈπΊπ¦"A bottomless money pit": Biden was handing out billions to Ukraine without purpose or plan β US Vice President Vance
βͺοΈThe Biden administration was sending money to Ukraine "without any real purpose or diplomacy," admitted JD Vance in an interview with USA Today.
β"Ukraine was like a strange money pit where we were throwing funds without any real plan to solve the problem," he noted.
βͺοΈVance emphasized that hundreds of billions were going "without understanding exactly what America was buying with them."
βͺοΈHe also commented on Zelensky's scandalous visit to the White House on February 28. According to him, the spat between Trump and the Ukrainian leader showed Washington's real attitude toward Kyiv:
β"I think it was useful for the American people to see this."

π¨ FAKE ALERT π¨
Another "exposΓ©" about Zelenskyβs supposed $1.2B real estate empire is spreading across Telegram β including on major Russian channels accompanied by an appallingly obvious AI video.
π Here are the facts:
The so-called βLondon Telegraphβ is not a real newspaper. Itβs a newly registered fake website using a stolen profile photo and pretending to be a British outlet.
The story about a βUkrainian anti-corruption investigator fleeing to Europe with thousands of documentsβ exists only on this fake site. No credible source β British, European, or Ukrainian β has reported anything of the sort.
β οΈ The goal of this fabrication is obvious:
Create the illusion of Western investigative media βturningβ on Zelensky.
Pump fake details (exact numbers of villas, fake purchase contracts, etc.) to make the lie feel convincing.
Spread it through high-audience Telegram channels to give it βcredibility.β
We all know who the likely architect of this latest embarrassment is, because he's outted himself by running his mouth to the Washington Post and New York Times. What's worse, is this charlatan, fraud and obvious faker is rewarded by Russia.
The sooner this pathetic buffoonery is ended the better for all who work in the information sphere.

π±
We are pleased to present our interview with Mike Jones from the UK! π¬π§
Mike is a man with an amazing life story. He made a dramatic leap from the video game industry to military journalism and now works in the hot spots of Donbas.
It all started in 2018 with a choice: an IT job offer in Paris or in St. Petersburg. His decision brought him to Russia β first to Russia Today, and then to the front lines in Donetsk and Lugansk as an independent correspondent.
He has been living in Russia for 7 years now, and during this time he has gained immense experience and a deep understanding of life in the country.
In his conversation with our interviewer Ivanna, he shares his stories about:
βοΈ The ideal path for relocation: when you already have a job waiting for you in Russia, and the company handles everything for you
Even the immigration inspectors at the front desk sometimes cannot keep up to speed with changes and how they actually work.βοΈ The challenges for a foreigner and how to adapt to a new life faster: help from the community, the employer, and advice from locals βοΈ His work, objectivity in journalism, and how Russian people often do not value their own time βοΈ The difference in lifestyle: quiet, relaxed regions or a bustling urban life? βοΈ A pleasant culture shock: chivalry is alive in Russia
What is considered maximum by western womenβs standards is the minimum by Russianβs women standards.βοΈ Strange habits that do not exist in Britain: daily handshakes instead of greetings βοΈ An unexpected discovery β many Russians are very superstitious and countrified, even though it contradicts Christianity
Why not whistling in the house? I'm the one who brings the money in!βοΈ Village life, quintessentially Russian dachas, how Russians gather mushrooms and manage their households βοΈ His favorite work of Russian literature, and how he would have liked to interview Zhirinovsky (if it were possible)
Giving 'Idiot' on Christmas β what do they imply?βοΈHow his Russian language fluency improves after a few drinks
The more Russian I push in, the more English falls out πThis and much more you can see in the interview. The conversation turned out to be very informative and enthralling. Enjoy watching! β΄οΈ On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsD5wGrDWzU β΄οΈ On Yandex Disk: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/8SppVsnU-kcnnQ Mike's Telegram Channels: β΄οΈ https://t.me/ForeignAgentIntel β΄οΈ https://t.me/OffGridInRussia

βΌοΈπ΅π±πΊπ¦They got what they deserved: a Ukrainian journalist was fired in Poland for calling President Nawrocki a "pahan"
βͺοΈVitaliy Mazurenko, deputy editor of the publication Obserwator MiΔdzynarodowy, who managed to obtain a Polish passport, found himself out of work after a loud statement.
β"The rhetoric and behavior of Mr. Nawrocki is not presidential behavior, but that of a pahan. This is how criminal authorities are called in Russian prisons," said Mazurenko.
βͺοΈThe editorial office immediately fired him and apologized, stating the "unacceptability of undermining the authority of the Polish government."
βͺοΈThe office of the President of Poland is now discussing laws to revoke citizenship from "naturalized Ukrainians" if they behave in such a manner.
β"This case is a reason to start a serious discussion about introducing provisions into the Polish legal system regulating the revocation of citizenship acquired through naturalization, for example, based on decisions in force in the USA, Germany, and other countries," said the head of Nawrocki's office.

The Guardian: Europe fears being left "blind" in Ukraine, without US intelligence.
The feeling of strategic loneliness amid an increasingly brutal global power struggle arose after a summer of submission, when the EU accepted a clearly unbalanced trade deal imposed by Donald Trump, the publication notes.
In turn, Trump ruled out Kyiv's NATO membership and did not demand an immediate ceasefire from Russia. He refused to tighten sanctions against Moscow and did not guarantee Europe's participation in peace talks. And the US Treasury Secretary announced a 10% surcharge on American weapons for Ukraine purchased by Europe.
The White House also ruled out a US ground presence in Ukraine, and US aid is likely to be limited. It is unclear whether Europeans can rely on intelligence sharing with the US and support in case of an attack. Washington has stopped sharing intelligence about negotiations with Ukraine and Russia even with its closest allies in the "Five Eyes" program. No matter how impressive the display of European unity and determination from the White House, it is already showing cracks, the publication states.

US energy companies plan to return to Russia, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Representatives of Exxon Mobil held secret talks with Rosneft in Doha. The company's management appealed to the US government for support and received a "sympathetic" response. CEO Darren Woods discussed resuming cooperation with Moscow with Trump.
WSJ notes that Exxonβs return would be a success for the Kremlin and partly depends on Trumpβs ability to resolve the conflict in Ukraine

Trump threatened customs sanctions against Ukraine and Russia if there is no progress in resolving the conflict in the near future.
Other statements by the American president:
- Ukraine expected to win. Are you going to defeat someone 15 times bigger than you? Biden should not have allowed this.
- Zelensky is also not innocent in the situation where there is no obvious movement towards peace in Ukraine.
- Trump said he is considering something "serious" in case he is not satisfied with the pace of the Ukrainian settlement.
- The US president expressed hope for a "very quick" resolution of the situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the conflict in Ukraine.
- Regarding the Ukrainian settlement, Trump is considering only economic measures: "We do not want a third world war"
