1️⃣5️⃣🅾️🅾️ Starting point: IELTS 6.5 Format: Offline Branch:Shahristan Branch Odilbek studied in our Elite program and eventually got an amazing 1500 🏆 Check out his story and reflection here:

Beginning-> 6.5 IELTS (R:6); Math I knew well(Stereometriya from geometry, Logarithms from Algebra; Abiturient 1-9 book). October- 1st visit to Satashkent to study SAT. Me and my bro Ahmad first came to Drujba to start our journey of SAT. We both received our entrance exams, and Axmad didn't get his exam from Eng since he had a 7.0 in reading. Having solved we gave them to the admins to assess our knowledge. Axmad: EBRW- SAT group, Maths- PreSAT group; Me: EBRW- PreSAT group, Maths- SAT group. We both mulled it over for a while, and we decided to decline the offer and practiced for 1 month to strengthen our knowledge so that we both entered the same groups and studied together. 1 month passed, we came back and successfully got into the same groups, and there our journey started. November-January we studied, we grasped it and had 1 month-odd till the March exam. What we did was to self-study this single month. The result was devastating. Me and Ahmad got the same scores: 1360, me(600;760) and he(680;680). We kept going: Ahmad took the May exam with Azizbek, and I took the June one. We both failed, getting 1400. Ahmad decided to push further, while i decided to take a break and studied IELTS in summer. After 3 months of break, I came back with fresh miyya yearning for 1500+. I joined a 1-month elite group to take the October exam. "Last chance,"-said my mom with intention. I mean I studied SAT for almost a year, and I think it was natural that Mom was mad at me. Thousands of questions, hundreds of exams and practice tests, and so many failures. I knew the answers to the math questions the time our teacher showed them. With EBRW it was pretty similar, but most of the time remembering the answers didn't work cuz either the question was changed or I would remember the wrong answer. What I did with EBRW was analyzing every question with details, and tons of h/w. The teachers were magnificent here at SaTashkent. They knew what they were doing, and knew how to teach and get high scores. With more exposure to the SAT, I inderstood what my previous techers were explaining and tryna say to me. And the problem was not with them or the center. As I loved solving maths questions, I didn't have much problem with that. Yet I didn't like to read, and reading complex scientific questions was one of the worst and most boring things. Furthermore, i would delay most of the EBRW h/w, and I think that this is the key difference between 1400ers and 1500+ers. And finally, after almost a year, I received a 1500 on the October exam. Of course, this is not my last SAT exam, yet I am so grateful for that. Keep going. Never miss EBRW or Maths h/w. Stay hungry. Stay hard!

EARLY DECISION short-takes: • Read your print preview PDF from the first page to the last. You will find errors there that you never see in the edit screens. • Many liberal arts colleges close Early Decision on November 15, not November 1. These include Williams, Swarthmore, Bowdoin, Carleton, Haverford, Hamilton, Grinnell, Colby, Davidson, Smith, Vassar, Bryn Mawr and Bates. Amherst closes on November 9 and Pomona on November 8. You may have more time than you think. • The CSS Profile deadline matters as much as the application deadline. • Some colleges move international students who need aid and apply ED to Regular Decision. Check the aid rules of your ED college today. • If you need aid, check how many international students the college actually funds. Search “[harvard] Common Data Set 2025-2026” and open section H6. • SAT score low? Send your score if it is at or above the college’s 25th percentile. Leave it out if it is below. • A submitted recommendation letter cannot be changed in RD. Recommendation letters can arrive after the deadline. Colleges usually accept teacher and counselor documents a few days late. Submit your own part on time, even if a letter is still missing. • You can ask for one or two extra days. Email the admissions office before the deadline and give a real reason. Do not ask after the deadline has passed. • Ask for an interview. If the college offers interviews and you have not been invited, email and ask. @satashkent
