hi guys!! just woke up (not rll been up since 830) but i just wanted to say a few words like i always do before any major results day and hopefully not repeat the words of others LOL first i just wanted to say how proud i am of everyone here who’s been with me during this alevel journey, who might be going through their own tertiary journey right now and just giving so much support, breaking down, crashing out together if you look through this channel we’ve all gone through SO MUCH some of you guys came here for motivation and that itself is already a testament to your efforts in trying to be better, to put in the work to do well words like no matter what your grades don’t define you might be a deaf ear to many of you especially right now when fear and nerves are becoming overwhelming, I don’t know your situation, I don’t know what type of grades each of you expect of yourself or what others might even project their expectations of you. But what I do know and fully understand is that although YES 100% grades are a VERY big determiner in a society like Singapore, to get into uni to get the scholarships, to make your parents proud and lastly to make yourself proud. I really do hope that despite the weight it holds despite the expectations despite how grades are seen in this society you find the time to thank your own efforts to see the fruit of it being borne and for even trying in the first place The a-levels are never easy and I just hope you’re not too harsh on yourself (hopefully others aren’t too harsh on you too 🥲❤️) and really believe that there ARE other options there are different paths set for you and for now the path you’re on might feel like the absolute world your everything you’ve worked for but everyone’s path is ALWAYS at least a little different from what they plan out to be and it’s really okay so please be proud of yourself today as much as you can be :)

when it comes to advice about receiving results, especially ones that play such a big weightage on the outcome of our futures ive never been good at consoling people just because my words of advice always feel so cliché and i feel so half-heartedly about them 🥲🥲 and it's always hard for me to comfort others knowing i feel an equal, if not greater sense of anxiety and fear with the impending "doom" of results tomorrow. but what I will say is that the earth keeps spinning. time keeps ticking. opportunities are awaiting to be grabbed, people are still out there you've yet to meet, countries you've yet to travel to, things yet to be checked off your bucket list.... don't forget there is a life that awaits for you regardless of what happens. don't forget that you have a story that's unfinished and yet to be written. and only you can continue writing that story!!!! don't let one day stop you from one century of a lifetime!!!
