Went to the NUS open house today… talked to so many finance students and their drive really sets them apart like I’ve never seen people so confident and solid on their goals and it kind of swayed me ngl but it kinda made me think like especially as someone who came from a JC rather than a poly where they know what they wanna specialise in what they are good at and I immediately just thought , oh they have such a head start I need to get it together I need to plan research and starting doing all these extra things to be on the same level and idk I think it might be the Singaporean education system or whatever that keeps us GLUED to this rat race mindset to chase and to dream and the constant feeling of insecurity or lack sometimes it’s good to take a pause and think about it cause after all that panic for a few hours about how I was going to ever catch up or amount the same how hard I should work should I switch my dream school ??? in the end I just realised I have year 1 and year 2 to decided LOL like there’s really no rush, we experience EVERYTHING all the 101 courses and foundational modules and really this mindset is good it’s great even especially to survive in such a cut throat academic society but at times can give us unnecessary stress and anxiety instead of the good type of stress you know :p anyways just a late night thought and was actually gonna share how im in an even greater dilemma on which to pick, nus or smu biz

went on a 10k walk with my friends on Friday 😝😝 AND got a job WOHOOOOOOOO thank GOD I passed the interview 🧘‍♀️

was like one month too soon and I was really shocked they let me go after 2 months but YAYYYY time to find another one soon (pray for me I really want a cute retail job with a cute apron and just chill and make money 🧘‍♀️)

This one is especially for NTU I think (not sure about other universities), but u need somebody to endorse ur ABA (aka recommend you be a student of the school). Go and ask if any of your teachers are willing to endorse you AND DO THIS EARLY DO NOT WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE sometimes if your preferred endorsers are too swamped with other students, they may just say no to you...
