In the hustle of daily life, it's important to take a step back and ask a few questions at times, right?

This morning, I received a score breakdown of my recent exam. While normal people usually check their social media or make their beds, my daily ritual for the past 20 days has been checking my email first thing in the morning π
.
So, I want to share some insights with you about the writing score breakdown. Long story short, the score breakdown turned out differently than I had expected. I wasn't taken aback by Task 2 score, but in fact, by Task 1. This is simply because I couldn't finish my Task 1 ( It was a map question and I only wrote an introduction, the worst overall and only one sentence for body 1). Thus, I thought I got a higher score from Task 2 and that's why I ended up with 7.5, but it's the same scores as the ones I got in August (8 7 8 8).
Lesson of the day: you never know how the examiner will assess your work π
. So, be ready for surprises coz literally anything can happen. Remember, Task 2 carries more weight in your overall writing score, so don't fret if Task 1 doesn't go as planned. All in all, always start with Task 2, and keep in mind that it can make a big difference in your overall score.
P.s. Don't expect more than 5 for Task Achievement if you can't finish ur report tho.

In the IELTS speaking test, it is crucial to keep your language and ideas simple and clear. While it may be tempting to use fancy vocabulary and complex sentence structures to impress the examinerπ€©, it is more important to communicate effectively and accurately.
Simplicity allows you to convey your ideas more clearly. Using overly complicated language can lead to confusion, making it difficult for the examiner to understand your points. By keeping your language simple, you can ensure that your message is easily understood.
Moreover, using simple language can help you avoid mistakes. When you try to use complex vocabulary or grammar structures that you are not familiar with, you are more likely to make errors. It is better to stick to what you know and use it accurately.
Additionally, simplicity can help you maintain fluency. If you are constantly searching for complex words or struggling with intricate sentence structures, your speaking may become disjointed and hesitant.
Keep in mind: SIMPLICITY IS THE KEYπ.

I've just come across one short video in which a lil boy was singing a beautiful song with his angelic voice and for some reason, I felt as if that kid had the purest soul ever β€οΈβ€οΈ
I literally fell in love with his shining eyes and smileπ« π« Honestly, I don't even know and can't explain what I saw in this guy, but I guess it seemed like fire, passion, hope and faith. π₯β¨π
And I kind of had a realization moment. Every one of us had a burning fire and passion when we were young, but because of life challenges many of us lost this fire β this fire was replaced by fear and faith by worry. In other words, as a wise man said " We all have that fire. But for some reason this fire slowly dies as we grow older. Society, external expectations, small-minded people, and being in the wrong environment chip that fire away".
P.s. Actually, I saw my old self in that guy.

Overall, while the sales of magazines are going to see an upward trend in country D, the reverse is expected to be true for countries A, B and C. It is also noteworthy that the number of magazines sold in country E is predicted to remain unchanged.
Looking at decreases initially, the figure for country A stood at almost 50 in 2003 but it is projected to fall by 10 over a five-year period. The country B, accounting for the highest figures in all years given, is going to witness a marginal drop of 5, from sharp 50 to virtually 45. The count for country C, in the meantime, is expected to go down from around 37 to 31.
The quantity of magazines sold in other countries in question is predicted to change, albeit to varying degrees. While the figure for country D is going to rise linearly from roughly 18 to 23, that for country E is predicted to stay at the same level, with approximately 5.
