" What " and " If" are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life.
What if ?
What if ?
What if ?

The images illustrate the layout of a school in the period from 1985 onward.
From an overall perspective, the school campus has undergone a complete makeover, with an addition of more amenities and study areas. It is also apparent that the design has been modified to accommodate more students and make the school more spacious.
In 1985, the school housed merely 1500 students, with buildings being organized inefficiently. There was a large playing ground in the south, which was connected to a north-western entrance and a north-eastern exit area with a path encircling a car park in the far north. Most of the features could be found in the west, including a library and an office to its north. A smaller car park and classrooms were situated in the heart of the site, with a two-storey classroom block being in their east across the path.
The current outline of the school has been changed enormously, creating more space to navigate through school amenities. Although the playing fields have shrunk in size and the path running in the middle has been removed, the entrance and exit doors have remained unchanged, yet being linked with a semicircle path instead of the old rectangular one. While the northern car park and office have not been subject to change, the small car park and classrooms have been demolished. The library, in the meantime, has been converted into a learning resources center and a computer room. New classrooms have been erected at the expanse of the playing fields, with a pool and fitness center to their south. Additional classrooms are now available in the north of the playing fields, adjacent to a new classroom block with three storeys.

Some scientists think that there are intelligent life forms on other planets and messages should be sent to contact them. Other scientists think it is a bad idea and would be dangerous.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Space exploration has always been a topic for discussion. While some researchers maintain the importance of looking for other life forms and trying to contact them via messaging, others deem it to be an unfavorable turn of events since it may bring dangers. Although I concede that investigating other planets is essential, I subscribe to the view that it is wrong.
Admittedly, exploring space for the search of life can be seen in a positive light. One potent reason can be ensuring secure future. It is natural that, due to our ignorance and excessive consumerism, our planet has suffered enormously, be it global warming or various forms of pollution. This trend made the life on Earth difficult in that some people are experiencing starvation or shortage of potable water, and some infectious ailments are spreading rapidly owing to water or air contamination. One of the feasible remedies to such an issue would be dissecting space and finding planets for people to inhabit and continue the human race. Another explanation for promoting space investigation may be the development of cutting-edge technologies. That is, cosmos is the harsh place, requiring adequate expertise and electronic gadgets to survive. Should the existence of aliens in those severe conditions be proved, it will aid researchers to develop new technological advancements, enabling people live happily and easily not only in one's planet, but also in other planets. These altogether make the quest for living creatures in space an appealing suggestion.
Notwithstanding, I'm of the opinion that science should currently focus on other terrains as examining space may be threatening. First comes the fear of unknown. Despite the years of exploration, there is little information about the universe, which means no one can guarantee safety or sufficient provision to get on. Not only that, but life forms met in space might also turn out to be aggressive or hostile, attacking or in extreme cases even dispatching people. This, in turn, can trigger wars of planets and different races, thereby wiping out the human race. Another problem may pertain to financial affairs. Having aimed at discovering space, government has to allocate obscene amount of money and resources on hiring experts, providing essential equipment and space shuttles. While this may contribute to space science, government will end up with insufficient funding for issues prevalent on Earth, illiteracy, poor healthcare, to name but a few.
In conclusion, granted, space investigation is crucial to find life on other planets and enable technological breakthroughs, but I believe that the likelihood of human extinction and high costs make it challenging for scientists to explore it.
