Hello everyone 👋🏻
Share a phrase you’ve learned recently in the comments 🙌🏻Make sure to explain what it means
Morning! ☀️ hope you had a safe one
What do you think goes in the gap here? Leave your suggestions in the comments 🙌🏻
Most of you got it right - it’s “let oneself in” 🤟🏻
Awesome job, guys 👏🏻
As I’ve mentioned today, DL activities will cease to be a part of this channel but you can join my private channel for some elaborate practice & more!
Just let me know in the comments
Have a nice Sunday evening ✨
Alrighty, looks like everything is pretty much set up to invite you to my private channel 🤓🤗
Watch the video above to learn more about it as well as the future of “StanFlix”
Meanwhile, I’ll be contacting those guys who’ve already left their “I’m in-s” 🙂
You can leave your “I’m in” in the comments
More details on the new private channel with a monthly 450R subscription
“StanClique” is a private descriptive language channel for true English aficionados 😍
🎸 Here’s how we’re going to roll:
1️⃣ Every day you’ll find at least 2 descriptive language snippets. One — in the morning, the other — in the afternoon
2️⃣ Later in the day & evening you’re going to receive a post with the answer & my commentary
☝🏻 Along with them comes a variety of others contexts you can find the new phrase used in.
🤓 To put the phrase into use, I’ll encourage you to answer some questions/make up a sentence or two/record an audio talking about smth where you could use the phrase, etc.
3️⃣ By the end of the week, (probably on Sunday) we’re going to GO LIVE to discuss & practice the phrases we’ve picked up during the week. I’m also planning on using tweet gaps for retrieval
🤘🏻 There’s also going to be a Quizlet set for you to continue practicing the covered vocab
I’m sure that’s not all there’s to it.
❗️ I’ve already posted the very first DL activity to the new channel
Let’s get the ball rolling & see what happens! Write “I’m in” in the comments if this channel is for you
PS I’m going to post a video of me telling you some more details on how to join and what’s going to happen to this channel a bit later
Dear English aficionados,
if ever tuned in to my live streams you might remember how we bounced around some ideas about a private channel of mine where we could do a deeper dive into descriptive language I teach you here. Some even more structured & qualitative learning with me going live with you at the end of the week
We even came up with the name “StanClique” 😀
*clique — a small group of people, with shared interests or other features in common
☝🏻So I’ve been marinating this thought and thinking what could nudge me to share more with you (since I’ve been sharing things pro bono since 2017) & realized it’s really about time I launched a private telegram channel for a symbolic monthly subscription - 450rub per person
I did create it & thought of the structure. I think you’ll like it 🤗
More detailed info to come later in the day 🙌🏻
If you like the idea and you’re in , give this post a thumbs up 👍🏻 or write “I’m in” in the comments
StanClique-у быть? 😜
Hi 👋🏻
Hope you’re having a lazy Sunday, but anyways - business before pleasure 😜

Alright, as we know froth is a mass of small bubbles on the surface of a liquid
So if a liquid froths, small bubbles appear on its surface
Also,
1️⃣ If you say that someone is frothing, or that they are frothing at the mouth, you are emphasizing that they are very angry or excited about something
2️⃣ If you refer to an activity or object as froth, you disapprove of it because it appears exciting or attractive, but has very little real value or importance
e.g. Falling in love the first time is all froth and fantasy
Enjoy your Saturday evening ✨

Yep, it’s either “make a face” or “pull a face”.
“Grimace” would also work if it weren’t for the wording of the sentence
Was it useful? Give a 👍🏻
Here comes your daily descriptive language fix 🙂
