The Sun ๐ŸŒž A thread explaining different cores and parts/features of our Sun โ˜€๏ธ (continued in comments): โšกCore
The Sun's core is where nuclear fusion happens, generating light and heat by converting hydrogen into helium.
โšกRadioactive Zone
The radiative zone in the Sun is where energy moves through radiation, as photons bounce between atoms, gradually making their way toward the surface.
โšกConvective Zone
The convective zone in the Sun is where energy is transported by the movement of hot, ionized gases, creating currents and contributing to the overall heat distribution within the Sun.
โšกTachocline
The tachocline is a thin layer within the Sun, situated between the radiative and convective zones. It's known for its role in influencing the Sun's magnetic field and rotation dynamics.

How Big SpaceX Rockets Really Are? โ”
The Falcon 9 rocket is 230 feet or 70 meters tall. For comparison, this is about as tall as a 21 story building. This rocket is used to launch satellites into geostationary orbit.
The Big Falcon Rocket or BFR is roughly 350 feet or 107 meters tall. This was renamed the SpaceX Starship. The name Starship refers to both the reusable rocket and the cargo / crew capsule. And this is the rocket that can take us to Mars. The rocket by itself may be called the Super Heavy booster.

Stabilized Sky Timelapse, Visualization of Earth's Rotation ๐Ÿบ
This video helps us visualize that it's the Earth that rotates, not the sky. We all know that's the case (most of us, anyway), but we don't directly perceive it that way. Eric was able to use a star tracker to stabilize the sky, and drive home the fact that we're all on a giant spinning rock flying through space.

Action Cam Footage of Earth & ISS From October 2017 Spacewalk ๐Ÿน
NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik captured this footage with a GoPro camera on Oct. 20, 2017 during a spacewalk outside the International Space Station. Bresnik reflected on this quiet moment, "Sometimes on a space walk, you just have to take a moment to enjoy the beauty of our planet Earth. This Go-Pro footage is from our spacewalk where Joe Acaba and I refurbished the Canadarm2 robotic arm and the Dextre robotic arm extension."
