Opinions are a dime a dozen and nearly everyone will share theirs with you. Many will state them as if they are facts. Don't mistake opinions for facts. #principleoftheday @temursolief

The heart wants peace and tranquility. But there is something lying hidden in it, causing a desire to avert my whole being from peace and focus on the battle. This battle is me versus me. And I choose the battle. This is war, and you know who I am. #thoughtsAboutThoughts 💭 @temursolief

Perhaps it is luck to be blind to not see these fake smiles, You can never know behind them what lies; Cries and fries Beautifully wrapped inside the piles of "Thanks, I'm fine"s. Hundreds of trials take you to go to extra miles, And sometimes as long as the length of the river Niles. Oh yes, time flies when you are putting together all these tiles To make a pic that can be worth your arduous whiles Whilst you are buried under hundreds of files. But who cares? Strange stares When you talk about all these heights, Eyes Full of tears and glares, But some nobodies try to prove only theirs, Talking about their subjective wrongs and rights. Years of agony or agony of years, Sighs, You will decide what will be left for fears, Size Up, but remember who go rears At the end cannot always say "Cheers, peers!" 'cause the end doesn't have cowards, now do as you please, Mister Somebody, Miss, Mrs. #lyrics #myVibes ✍️ @temursolief

Here we go We've come, but here we go, We hope that where we go Won't be so anymore. It'd be dope, but now nope. Untied rope, our heroes Are gone like lil' Nemo. So now what? Should I be like Van Gogh In this slope? I don't know. We coulda made it, but now these broken ties, Perhaps there's good in all these unfolded lies, Like a roll of dice, Don't know the point of all these vice Now time to pay the price, And welcome a big surprise :( Don't promise me of the castle in air Instead I prefer hassle in there Or I can hustle somewhere But you shoulda played the game just and fair. He was no typical ware His leave now caused a flare Among the best and the rare. We're going up in the stair But sudden wrong change of chair And he ain't got no good pair You'll see that so better prepare. I'm finna change my crew, It's about time that I grew. I can't stay, the thing is now slew, I can't stay, the thing is not new. It is not that I'm feeling blue It is not that I don't know truth But it's like a fever of flu, The virus is everywhere through. P.S. Most of my poems are 100% contextual. When I vibe with a certain feeling or condition, I just write the lines. The same happened. Misunderstandings or confusions are expected without the knowledge of the full context. @solief_ielts

It is 3:59 in the dawn. One of the hands is possibly drooping lazily over the bed to the floor while the rest of the body is laid in an unknown way as I cannot see how I sleep when I am in the land of Nod. Then, all of a sudden the most disgusting sound in the world starts ringing: my alarm's sound. One finger move says a lot there. "Snooze" button means "You are a lazy three-letter-word". But when the phone is away and the eyes are closed, the hand starts to perambulate around the whereabouts. Not foraging for grubs, but for the blessed phone! Finally found! The first win of the day, yay! The ensemble in the alarm sees the precipitous intervention of mine to their performance by making way for more z-z-z-z letters in cartoon thought bubble popped up above my head. Yet right at that moment the conscientiousness knocks my door to spit some chiding words and recount not-yet-materialized dire scenarios if I push the "snooze". On the other side, the pillow and sheet say "No way! You ain't going nowhere! Won't let you go!". In these yellow days of autumn, the hankering for being arrested inside them is so strong that I can shut the door to the face of my conscientiousness without a second thought. But while I am fighting with myself, sleep walks me out already. Then what? A day starts. Next to very good morning. (Yawning and stretching) @temursolief

In the presence of an accident, even in the hearts of your dearest and nearest, there is this strange feeling of satisfaction. Interestingly, no human being is exempt from this feeling, and it is universal for everybody. It is not schadenfreude that may have come to your mind immediately while reading the lines. It is a sense of gratitude for being fortunate enough not to be in that position. Experiencing close-to-death accidents or an-idea-of-death-implying situations is also liberating. How? It cuts off any burden from around and clears the lenses worn before the eyes. Some people visit cemeteries to be self-aware whereas some people stay in dark for long time to have some reflections. It is more than a cliché to quote anything related to "self-awareness" thanks to Gary Vee, but it is a considerably important concept to ruminate on to live freely. Inspired by the lines in Crime and Punishment of Dostoevsky. @temursolief #liberation

Self motivated people are rare. They are driven to do better. To learn more. To do more. They got suprprised when they hear that people need motivation. Motivation? Why would you need it? They ask. Just go and start doing. But unfortunately the rest 97% percent of the population is not like that. They respond to incentives. Controlled by incentives. External stimulation. External scorecard. Inner scorecard on the other hand is more lasting. Never ending. The most important things in life are internal, not external. “The big question about how people behave,” says Warren Buffett, “is whether they’ve got an inner scorecard or an outer scorecard. It helps if you can be satisfied with an inner scorecard." Taken from the knowledge base of the mentor. @temursolief

I was born in the family of musicians. My grandparents (dad's parents) were music teachers. The dad was a drummer, by some accounts. My uncles were also said to be musicians and art people. From my mom's side (where I have grown up), my great-grandaddy, my great-uncle and my grandfather were also into music though they did a different job. Mom was an art teacher. My great-aunties were amateur poets and singers. LOL. As it is obvious, I never chose creativity, but it chose me. In my early teen years, I used to write a lot of poems and stories. I was super imaginative. But I left it rusty for many years due to my utmost focus on my studies. I was wanted to be an educated man. Anyways I still write poems in Uzbek and English privately and sometimes share some of them with those who know to keep secret. To keep my pen in shape. What I want to say is singing is a nature of a human. So is writing a poem or a story. It all comes natural. If it is natural, then it is almost impossible to drop. But if it is left out, it may turn into an old Zaporozhets that does not move until it is dragged. If you have one or if you think that you have one, don't let it die. It was a gift to you. Don't let the gift-giver down. Just enjoy your present no matter what people say. @temursolief #autobiography #gift

Till the 1990s the crime rates in America had increased so dramatically that people thought the doomsday was coming. But for the next 15 years, its graph showed a skiing slope shape to the lowest. The nightingales with their pessimistic views for the future hurried to explain this positively downward trend by connecting it to the innovative police strategies, an economic boom and some intelligent-sounding hogwash. But the main factor for a considerable decline in crime figures was the legalization of abortion in the US in the 1970s. Why??? Who is most likely to commit a crime? Probably, children who grew up in adversity. Imagine the motherhood of a woman who is going to have an abortion, but cannot have as it is illegal. Are you imaginative enough to think about the life of her children in her family environment? How would it be like? Since children were not born in those families (criminal-factories) anymore because the abortion is legalized, the crime rate dropped significantly in the US. In conclusion, there is always a hidden side of everything, and I may even have read something not true enough to explain that trend (hindsight bias). An interesting thing is lottery-winners never stop explaining how they won the game. No wonder if they don't know the game they have played was a lottery. @temursolief #perspective #interesting

15 days ago we decided not to work with part-time teachers whose subject is what our school is specialized in. There was a part-time young female teacher who got great results and was superior to many candidates. It was sort of difficult to fire her. When we hired her, we had different plans. Then things changed, as usual. In short, we should have let her go. Actually, I should have asked her to leave as it was my responsibility and because full-time teachers were more beneficial for our school in the long-run. But it was a hard conversation and I avoided it. That has led to some little misunderstandings in the end. Today I got two lessons about that from Azizbek aka. 1. By far the majority of people avoid hard conversations; but those who don't can achieve great results in what they do. So don't avoid them. 2. It is a bit easier to have hard conversations by being honest since pure honesty is always the best weapon. Yes, hard conversations... #hardConversations #experience @temursolief

I look at tools as just tools, not as my final station. Marketing is a tool to sell more though it is a process itself. English or Russian is a tool to communicate with others. Recruitment is a tool to build a team. Math is a tool to think accurately. The list goes on and on. The thing is that tools cannot be a final destination. They never are although some people don't think so. I just use these tools and sometimes drop them to get things done. #iJustTakeitEazy @temursolief

Value-based marketing "Marketing is about values. This is a very complicated world. This is a very noisy world. And we’re not going to get a chance to get people to remember much about us. No company is. And so we have to be really clear what we want them to know about us. One of the greatest jobs of marketing the universe has ever seen is Nike. Remember Nike sells a commodity. They sell shoes. And yet when you think about nike …. In their ads they don’t ever talk about the product. ... What does Nike do in their advertisements? They honour great athletes. That’s who they are. That’s what they are about. Our customers want to know who is Apple and what is it we stand for. Where do we sit in this world. What we’re about isn’t making boxes for people to get their jobs done … " — Steve Jobs @temursolief

I have taught many students so far. I made lots of mistakes, too, on the way because I didn't have any right mentor from whom to learn teaching. I had to learn by trial and error. Yet, for several reasons, my pedagogical career didn't last long (4 years), and it was my first job not to mention my previous little entrepreneurial adventures. Hitherto I have worked with brilliant students as well as nightmare guys. I hated them at times, but I loved them most. I never regret having worked as a teacher and made a small contribution to someone's life. Whatever they have achieved is by the will of Allah and with their own efforts and intelligence. I am just proud to have acted as an instructor during a leg of their language journey. I always thank their teachers and parents for bringing up such young minds. I am not saying these words out of my arrogant humility, but because I learnt this from my teachers. They said the same words when I achieved a big result. Salute to them! All my blessings to them! #pedagogy #teachers @temursolief

I don't tell people what I am going to do. My mom believes in superstitions and so she insists me not to tell my future plans to her too because she thinks it may not materialize. But that is not the reason why I don't reveal my goals for the future. Life is everything and it is also a path that splits a lot during the whole journey. That means my life and goals can change at any time. Before I used to have different goals for life, but then they changed. Since things are pretty plastic, they can change really easily. Telling my plans to somebody would make me a little joyful because I would have boasted with something that I have not done yet. But what is the point of that? Talking the talk is not enough. First, I gotta walk the walk. Then I can throw a party. So, please, my friends. Don't ask about my plans. My life is pretty changeable. Today is not tomorrow. @temursolief

We don't need part-time employees because that label - "part-time" - speaks volumes for non-commitment. This rule is for any post (=position) if we want to have a long-term professional relationship with him/her. It is also not good to hire somebody who works somewhere and wants to work for us part-time. This is because they can always leave us as they do not have a risk of losing their job. We lost two teachers today because of their part-time thing. I say "Alhamdulillah". Actually, we won by losing them. This could have happened during the academic year. Phew! #hiring #HR #recruitment @temursolief

Though it rarely happens, I act openly in front of some people. Mostly I see a different (long-term) reaction from different individuals. I learned that being open sometimes makes great friends, while it may also lead to me losing my respect for somebody. Like many, I act openly (sharing my whole personality) with only the ones whom I consider close to me. But if that's taken as a sign of permission to disrespect the borders, (and many times it is done so) I am always to ready to raise a war flag ) Of course, I raise that flag to cut the ties like Russia and the US did to each other in the cold war, not necessarily to be the second barbarians tribe who conquered the Rome. But the most interesting thing is "being open to others can sometimes open up their inner self like a champagne bottle pop-up". Crazy it is. @temursolief

For the last couple of years, my life went upside down and I perfectly lost the control of almost everything (as if I'd had it before). Surrendering has always been an easy option and I could have always opted for that, but I have never done so. That worked absolutely against me as luck would have it, and I had expected that. But as a seed sown deep into the ground, surrendering would make me just a fossil for the earth, not a plant that could grow from that depth. I wanted to grow and made decisions for its sake. No regrets so far, #Alhamdulillah. No surrendering either. I can liken the life to many different things, and one of them is a roller-coaster. Whether I am going upwards or downwards on it, I should be enjoying it because that's what it is made for. As for the ups and downs in life, they are totally natural to happen and I am more than happy that the things are happening. Way to go, buddy! @temursolief

OK, what should a blog look like? Yes, you are right! In a way you described, which means a personal blog should look like in a way we want. As almost none says, blogging codex's first and last rule: there is no rule for blogging. Running a blog is like a taste for an ice-cream. Some people like an ice-cream with vanilla while others want chocolate one. I want my blog to be a small reflection of me. There are too many "I" and "me" here because if I say "you", that is a preacher, and if I say "they", then that's a complaint or a gossip. If I say "I" or "me", that's just me no matter how narcissistic that sounds. So I let it be me or let me be me. @temursolief
