"Better to go under than to let Germany rise again." ~ Schmitt Democracy against democracy becomes the practise just as war without war becomes the principle. Schmitt refers to Toynbee's Third Position freed of fascist tendencies: Europe is to be kept as a second-order power. The return of Germany is prevented, but also America prevents its own inherited power. This is where it fails the great-space principle, cripples itself before any need of a two-front war – economy takes its place.

'The capacity to think in the remote is diminishing.' ~ Schmitt And also utopia as the 'finite realisation that delivers us from the sting of the infinite.' In this sense, eternal discourse has become the impossibility of utopia but also its final realisation.

In short, an increase in population does not resolve problems of immigration, they are one.

Perhaps the most important consideration in the face of the migrant crisis. A crisis in legality and rights is the inevitable result of foreign population increase, but this also occurs passively within the economic-imperial model as the absolute economy is itself a deficient form of right and law. The old law that economy is the compulsion of private vice becoming public virtue is revealing in this regard, the economic-imperial model sucks the life out of Europe, which was already known in the 18th century. It may be added here that the economic rule comes into conflict with state caution, and the statesman is replaced by the tradesman. What is neoconservatism other than this? The economic-imperial state is the equation: sunken luxury equals power. It is not enough to say that the economic space is depopulated, that the rule of population increase can no longer sustain itself and depopulation is the result. No, the deal included in this state is the emasculation, exploitation, and death of the state's own people.

"The old European politics was dominated by the notion that an increase in population was synonymous with an increase in power. This was possible in times of cabinet politics and absolute governments. But the democratic constitution compels states to be cautious in increasing population, for it is obvious that it is impossible to grant the same citizenship rights to every population. In states that honour the principle of citizenship and are pure nation-states, foreign populations are generally highly undesirable. The tendency to exclude foreigners is all the more obvious in an imperialist state, which sincerely seeks economic domination of the world, but is apparently unwilling to share the fruits of that domination." ~ Schmitt

Total immigration has nothing to do with liberalism. Would you consider this possibility?

This suggests how old the problems of law are, everything in the concept of anarcho-tyranny is already in this idea of the potestas indirecta in a more powerful form. Similarly with Tocqueville's tutelary power.

"Drawing on his uprightness and his brave intellect, Hobbes restored the old and eternal relationships between protection and obedience, command and the assumption of emergency action, power and responsibility against distinctions and pseudoconcepts of a potestas indirecta that demands obedience without being able to protect, that wants to command without assuming responsibility for the possibility of political peril, and exercise power by way of indirect powers on which it devolves responsibility." ~ Carl Schmitt

Imagine the situation if reactionaries had the discipline to not interrupt their 'enemies' when they are losing. Liberals and conservatives would have to bear the weight of their own mistakes, and reactionaries would not have internalised the hysteria of 'the enemy'.

'To become virtuosos of the enemy's legality.' Schmitt's critique of the post-war writers. Something to be aware of in regards to today's discourse, which increases, but without the literary quality.

One would expect conservatives to welcome the death of free speech, but instead they jump into the grave like professional mourners.

Regarding modern music, wouldn't Nietzsche say that it is 'merely bad'? What is merely listenable may be the worst result of the music industry.

"Speak, that I may see you!" The political idea follows the eruption in this way. The form stays with us, the eruption is only apparent. Carl Schmitt says of the final German crisis that "the few learned people still stood with Goethe and Carus. They had not yet experienced the crisis of 1848." To endure the eruption is not enough, one must remain untouched by all its forces. They increase through destruction, yet the elemental and morphological power is lost. The subtle difference between earth forces and the elements can be seen here, the victory of the vulcanists over the neptunists means that eventually there are no longer eruptions. One of Nietzsche's mistakes, and all subsequent readings of political disaster.

""Marching parade" instead of "convention", "followers" instead of "party", "camp" instead of "congress" – in these expressions we come to see that the free decision of a series of individuals is no longer the unspoken premise for any coming together. Such a presupposition already sounds trivial and ridiculous – just as it clearly does in words like "association", "assembly", and others."" We still have not learned Jünger's lesson of the downfall of the mass and the individual. And today a new construction of man begins to form.

What is most revealing of the Right's youth-vitalism is the reliance on economic and marketing principles. systems which have only ever exploited youth, capturing those final moments of free life while on the precipice of eternal work. This work has become an abstraction, and so the image of youth must follow.

The ultra-conservatives are repeating all of the same efforts of the ultra-liberals of the 2000s. They destroy whatever potential remains of a radical politics. But at least they can enframe automatic processes as a "W". Rufo on test.

When Carl Schmitt was interrogated after the war one of the questions was focused on a text in which he said the concept of the great-space was incomprehensible to the Jews. This is where the races are truly tested, in political and spatial order. It even becomes a danger to them and forms their laws in unknown ways.
