Interview of Vladimir Zelensky with Lex Friedman Probably, the first media-political event of the beginning of the new 2025 can rightfully be called the interview of Vladimir Zelensky with the famous US podcaster Lex Friedman. And it is simply impossible to ignore such an interview, especially considering the color it contained. We can say that this podcast, for the domestic Ukrainian consumer, became both scandalous and maximally informative. Why scandalous? Because the majority of average consumers of information fast food and banal haters, instead of emphasizing important messages, began to pay attention to the obscene language that the President of Ukraine quite often used in communication with Lex Friedman. What can you say here... It's easy to judge from the couch. But, foul language, whether someone likes it or not, but it emphasized the level of tension and dissatisfaction with the support of international partners that we have at the end of the third year of a full-scale war, the bloodiest in the history of the European part of the continent since the Second World War. I just wonder how many times each person who did not like the statements of Vladimir Zelensky cursed the Budapest Memorandum three stories high? And who of you, over the past three years, has traveled around the destroyed cities of Ukraine as much as the president and tried to convey to the well-fed, warm and cozy Western partners all over the world the need to provide more assistance in the fight against Russia, and not to impose thoughts of peace with a maniac? It is always easy to criticize someone who has not felt even a tenth of the burden of the one being criticized, but could you handle it? No, a soft sofa is comfortable and cozy, and democracy and freedom of speech in Ukraine allow you to throw mud at anyone you want. As for the main points during the interview... I liked the most: "I do not respect either the leader of Russia or the Russian people." In my opinion, this should say everything. A country like Russia and a nation like Russians cannot exist for Ukrainians for one simple reason - thanks to their idolized leader Putin, they have personally dug an abyss of mistrust and hatred for generations. At the same time... at the same time for what? For the sake of control over Bakhmut? For the sake of control over the village of Berestki? For the sake of capturing the strategically important Selidovo? Well, what can you say - brilliant! Also, throughout the interview, attention was repeatedly drawn to the fact that Ukraine currently does not have sufficient security guarantees and support from partner countries that would allow it to begin at least some kind of dialogue with the Russian side about a ceasefire. On my own behalf, I would like to note that a ceasefire is an opportunity for Russia to accumulate resources. During a year of a conditional truce, Russia will accumulate thousands of tanks, armored fighting vehicles, and artillery. Due to the lack of human losses, Russia's resources will increase by an average of 400 thousand during the year. The Russian army will have not 680 thousand as it does now, but more than 1 million bodies, which in a year will be thrown not only at Ukraine, but also at Europe. For example, will 500 tanks, 1,500 armored fighting vehicles, and 1,000 artillery systems, as well as 100 thousand people be enough to cut through the Suwalki corridor? Yes, easily. And within a week, the entire territory of Poland, as well as the Baltic countries, on the left side of the Suwalki Corridor, will simply be occupied. Here's an example of the result of a truce in a year. Therefore, either guarantees are needed that will not allow this to happen, or the finishing off of Russia in its current frail, convulsing state. And while the President of Ukraine understands this perfectly well, the Western countries continue to live in their world of rosy abstractions. And therefore, in such realities, when you are surrounded by complete idiots, all you want to do is swear. I know from my own experience.

Apparently, our journalists and media are not familiar with such a concept as “evolution” and they, not having sufficient information from official sources, which is quite logical, since such operations require maximum silence on the air, began to pull messages from Russian “war correspondents” into our information space. Well done! But, still, on the essence of the issue. If anyone thought that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky just decided to go to the Kursk region the day before, for beautiful photos, then this is exclusively a problem of your foresight. The Commander-in-Chief's visit to such an extremely dangerous zone was due not only to the desire to award the guys from the 225th Assault Brigade and the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, but also, apparently, for something else? Didn't that thought occur to you? I will note that the Commander-in-Chief also noted that during the Kursk operation, the ROV lost 38 thousand bodies. And now, a little banal mathematics. As of today, the Kursk group of ROV is 50-55 thousand bodies. Thus, taking into account the losses of 38 thousand and the current composition, as well as the fact that in August the GV "Kursk" was within 10-12 thousand bodies, the command allocated and deployed a resource of more than 83 thousand bodies to the region. That is, losses of 38 thousand are comparable in some sense with the maximum possible replenishment of the group of 43-45 thousand bodies. In other words, even taking into account the North Korean replenishment, which created a precedent for the quantitative dominance of the Kursk group, the group itself is in approximately the same weakened position, in terms of potential, as in August 2024. And taking into account all of the above, it would be necessary to draw appropriate conclusions, but it is simply wonderful that in our information space they reflect on the events that are already taking place, but not everyone can predict them, thank God. I would very much ask our esteemed retransmitters of information to the masses not to pay special attention to the events in the Kursk region in the next 48-72 hours. Wind your hype-eating snot on your fist and refrain from details based on Russian reports, and not official ones. If there is officialdom, there will be food for chatter on the air. If you develop the topic from third-party sites, nothing good will come of it... Like in 2022 near Kremennaya...
