Running out of things to say in Speaking Part 2?
Or panicking with time left on the clock?
It is almost always a timing problem, not a content problem.
Prep time (1 min): 15 sec choose your angle → 30 sec jot 3 keywords → 15 sec order them mentally
Speaking time (2 min): 20 sec basic facts → 60 sec details and feelings → 15-20 sec closing thought
Practice this split on your next 5 cue cards. Save this before your test.

IELTS vs CELPIP for Canada PR: the honest comparison nobody gives you (swipe →)
Most coaching centres push IELTS because that is all they teach. We coach both. so here is the truth.
The short version:
- IELTS: better if you are also applying to universities, live outside a metro, or prefer more test date options
- CELPIP: better if Canada PR is your only goal, you hate face-to-face speaking tests, or you prefer conversational writing tasks

Same question. Same topic.
Two completely different band scores.
I answered "Describe a memorable journey" twice.
Once the way most students do, and once the way a Band 8 candidate would.
The words were almost the same.
The score was not.
Here is what separated them:
- Natural linking words, not just "and" and "but"
- One complex sentence using "although"
- A specific emotional detail at the end, not just "it was good"
That is genuinely the entire gap between Band 6 and Band 8 in Speaking Part 2.

Technology and Daily LifeIn my opinion, technology has changed our lives in many ways. One reason is that it allows people to communicate more easily. For example, students can use online resources to learn new skills and improve their vocabulary. However, technology also has some disadvantages. Many people spend hours doom scrolling on social media instead of focusing on important tasks. As a result, their retention of information may decrease.
