Topic: Emotional Quotient (EQ)
Instructions:
- Read the passage aloud with a clear voice.
- Speak at a steady pace, pronounce words clearly, and use expression to match the meaning.
- Replay your recording and check your fluency, pronunciation, and confidence.
Emotional Quotient, or EQ, is the ability to recognise, understand, and manage our own emotions while also understanding the feelings of others. It helps us stay calm during stressful situations and make thoughtful decisions instead of reacting impulsively. People with a high EQ listen carefully, show empathy, and communicate respectfully. They understand that everyone experiences different emotions and try to support others with kindness and patience.
Emotional intelligence is important at home, in school, and in the workplace. It helps us build strong friendships, solve conflicts peacefully, and work well in teams. When we learn to control our emotions, we become more confident and responsible. Simple habits such as taking a deep breath before responding, listening without interrupting, and showing gratitude every day can strengthen our emotional intelligence. Developing EQ is a lifelong journey that helps us become happier, wiser, and more compassionate individuals.
Moral:
"A kind heart and a calm mind are the true signs of emotional strength."

Topic: Being Grateful
Being grateful means appreciating the people and things that make our lives better. Gratitude helps us notice the good around us, even on difficult days. We can be thankful for our parents who care for us, teachers who guide us, friends who support us, and nature that gives us fresh air, water, and food. We can also be grateful for our health, our home, and the opportunity to learn new things every day.
Showing gratitude is easy. We can say "thank you," help someone in return, or simply smile and show kindness. A grateful person is often happier because they focus on their blessings instead of their problems. When we appreciate what we have, we become more positive, respectful, and caring towards others. Gratitude also strengthens relationships and spreads joy wherever we go.
Moral:
A grateful heart is a happy heart. Always be thankful for the blessings in your life.

Her husband recommended my classes to her.

Band 6.5. Target achieved. 🔥
Sulfath came to me looking for flexibility and personalised attention.
She could not commit to a rigid schedule, and she used to genuinely dread Reading.
In 10 focused classes, she hit her target score across all four modules. Speaking improved significantly.
And Reading, the module she used to avoid, became manageable with the right strategies.
What made the difference wasn't just hard work. It was the right approach, a flexible schedule that worked around her life, and individual guidance throughout.
Sulfath, so proud of you. You put in the effort and it showed. 💪

Topic: Being Stubborn for the Things You Need in Life
Good morning everyone.
Today, I would like to talk about being stubborn for the things you truly need in life. We often hear that being stubborn is a bad habit. But there is another side to it. When you are determined to achieve your dreams, protect your values, or work towards an important goal, a little stubbornness can become your greatest strength.
Life is not always easy. There will be failures, disappointments, and people who may tell you that your dreams are too big or impossible. At times, you may feel like giving up. However, if your goal is meaningful and you are willing to work hard for it, don't let temporary failures stop you. Every successful person has faced obstacles, but they kept moving forward because they refused to give up.
Being stubborn does not mean ignoring advice or refusing to learn. It means staying committed to your purpose while being willing to improve, change your methods, and learn from your mistakes. If one path doesn't work, try another. If you fail, try again with more knowledge and experience.
Remember, success rarely comes overnight. It is built through patience, effort, discipline, and determination. When you believe in yourself and stay focused on what truly matters, you become stronger with every challenge you overcome.
Moral: Be stubborn about your dreams, but flexible in the way you achieve them. Determination leads to success.

A "nonchalant attitude" refers to an easygoing, carefree, and casual demeanor. Someone with this attitude displays a calm indifference and appears remarkably unbothered, even in situations where others might expect them to be anxious, excited, or highly engaged.

Topic: Live Your Life, Not Their Opinions
Many dreams are left unfulfilled, not because people lack talent, but because they fear one question: "What will people think?" The truth is, no matter what you do, someone will always have an opinion. If you stay silent, people will judge you. If you speak up, they may still judge you. If you succeed, they may criticise you. If you fail, they may do the same.
Living your life according to other people's expectations is like letting strangers hold the steering wheel of your future. Their opinions may be loud, but they should never be louder than your purpose. Have the courage to pursue your goals, make your own decisions, and embrace the path that truly fulfils you.
This does not mean ignoring good advice. Constructive criticism helps us grow, but unnecessary judgment should never stop us from taking meaningful risks. Every successful person has faced doubt, rejection, and criticism before earning respect. The difference is that they refused to let fear dictate their choices.
Remember, people will always have something to say, but they will not live your life or carry the consequences of your decisions. Therefore, choose growth over approval, courage over comfort, and purpose over popularity.
Moral: Do not let the fear of people's opinions become the prison that keeps your dreams locked away. Live with conviction, and let your actions speak louder than their words.
