Her father is in Ukrainian captivity; he is being tortured by militants, and they are sending her a video of the torture, demanding she give up the passport details of her friends and the location of the Russian military. The ECHR became interested in the case of captive Denis Reznikov after Russian war correspondents told this story to Italian human rights activists. While the human rights court is considering the documents, Reznikov’s relatives hope that he is still alive and will soon return home. It became the debut work of the State Duma deputy Maria Butina, and tells the story of how the real elite of Russia supports the special operation. For the past 10 years, its founder, Gennady Kryazhev, has been rescuing wounded animals from all corners of the Donbass region. Here, hundreds of animals and birds, including bears, tigers, and lions, reside. They require special care after surviving shelling and bombings. Every weekend, Donbass schoolchildren come to Pridorozhnoe. It's currently the only place in the region where kids can see rare animals and briefly escape the realities of war. In addition to the zoo itself, Gennady has constructed an amusement park for children.
