HPG: Turkish army attacked guerrilla areas with chemical weapons The occupying Turkish army attacked the tunnels in the Girê FM Resistance Area in Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region with chemical gas and banned explosives. The Press Office of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement providing information about the latest actions by the guerrillas and attacks by the Turkish army in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq). The Turkish army has mounted attacks with prohibited weapons, said the HPG statement, which listed the details as follows: Attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish army with banned explosives; On 10 May at 15:00, our tunnels in the Girê FM Resistance Area of the Şehid Delîl Western Zap region were bombed 3 times with banned explosives.
