A Peruvian who fought for russia was tortured to get his bank card: they cut off his thumb.
Oscar Alberto Mak Alpa Makera, a 26-year-old Peruvian citizen, said he was tortured for 2 days by his fellow soldiers, who asked him for his bank card and its password.
The mercenaries wanted to kill him, burn his body and declare him missing.

More than 600 russians are stranded at an airport in Vietnam due to canceled and rescheduled flights to Moscow. They have been unable to leave for two days.

Today, the total combat losses of enemy personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation have exceeded 1,500,000 occupiers killed and wounded.
This is the largest number of losses suffered by the russian army in a single war since World War II. This figure exceeds the combined losses of the Soviet and russian armies in all wars and armed conflicts of the second half of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st centuries.
This is 100 times more than the USSR's losses in Afghanistan over 10 years.

In the final match, Kravchenko faced russian athlete Atmir Soblirov. The fight ended after 2 minutes and 7 seconds with a victory for the Ukrainian athlete.
Daniil brought Ukraine its first gold medal at the European Championships-2026, which is being held in the capital of Montenegro. Prior to this, the national team had only one bronze medal.

β 1,000 female service members will receive complete sets of combat gear for a year-long trial.
The Ministry of Defense and the NGO "Zemlyachky" are launching a pilot "Female Combat Gear Kit" program to improve women's military equipment based on practical experience.
After basic military training and selection of a combat position, participants in the project will receive a kit including: winter and transitional season footwear and uniforms, thermal underwear, a helmet, a body armor vest with an anatomical plate carrier, a first-aid kit, a tactical backpack, active noise-canceling headphones, a sleeping bag, and more.
Over the course of a year, issues related to sizing and comfort, the need for replacement of components, instances of individual purchases, and the cost-effectiveness of centralized supply will be studied.
In parallel, the Ministry of Defense and "Zemlyachky" will refine the summer and winter sets of women's uniforms, taking into account fit, freedom of movement, seasonality, and compatibility with equipment.

βΌοΈ Thanks to the "I Want to Live" Coordination Center project, a truly "big fish" has surrendered β a GRU special forces soldier.
A serviceman from one of the special operations units of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (formerly the GRU) surrendered his weapons and is now telling representatives of the project how commanders of the "elite" of the russian army send them on suicidal assaults. According to him, the attitude towards people as "cannon fodder" and the consequences he witnessed of the "liberation" led him to consider surrendering.
The young man realized that he was uncomfortable being a soldier in an occupying army that was taking people's homes away from them. By contacting the project, through which russians can voluntarily surrender, he not only protected himself from senseless death but also set an example for others to follow.
Currently, the former special forces soldier is safe as a prisoner of war, protected by the Geneva Conventions, and is urging other russians who have realized the criminality of the actions of the russian army to contact the "I Want to Live" project.

π€ Air defense systems, drones, and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine β key outcomes of the 36th "Ramstein" format meeting - πΊπ¦ MoD Ukraine.
Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Yevhen Hliba, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatiy, presented the "War Plan" to the partners for the first time, outlining the operations of the Armed Forces.
Following the meeting, partners announced new contributions to strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield:
π©πͺ Germany β new supplies of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems and F-16 aircraft, as well as the procurement of drones.
π¬π§ United Kingdom β Β£100 million for the supply of American weapons through PURL, the delivery of an additional 95,000 drones by the end of the year, and tens of thousands of artillery shells with extended range, funded by other countries.
π³π± Netherlands β a β¬300 million contribution to the "Drone Line" project and 300 anti-drone missiles.
πͺπͺ Estonia β continued support in 2027 at a level of at least 0.25% of GDP.
π³π΄ Norway β previously announced package of $200 million for the purchase of Patriot missiles.
πͺπΈ Spain β β¬2 million for fuel through the NATO Support and Supply Agency, as well as the supply of air defense missiles and artillery ammunition.

β‘οΈRussia's deadline to capture Donbas slips again as military asks for more time, Ukraine says
Russia has again postponed its deadline to fully capture Ukraine's Donbas, now setting March 31, 2027, as the target date, Deputy Presidential Office head Pavlo Palisa said on Sept. 7.
"Russians have failed to achieve any operational success in Donetsk Oblast," Palisa said. "They have already postponed the deadlines for reaching the oblast's administrative borders 15 times."
