| 2 |  🥋🥇Ukrainian Judoka Daniil Kravchenko Achieves Stunning Victory Over russian Opponent at European Championships
In the final match, Kravchenko faced russian athlete Atmir Soblirov. The fight ended after 2 minutes and 7 seconds with a victory for the Ukrainian athlete.
Daniil brought Ukraine its first gold medal at the European Championships-2026, which is being held in the capital of Montenegro. Prior to this, the national team had only one bronze medal.

| 3 | ♀ 1,000 female service members will receive complete sets of combat gear for a year-long trial.
The Ministry of Defense and the NGO "Zemlyachky" are launching a pilot "Female Combat Gear Kit" program to improve women's military equipment based on practical experience.
After basic military training and selection of a combat position, participants in the project will receive a kit including: winter and transitional season footwear and uniforms, thermal underwear, a helmet, a body armor vest with an anatomical plate carrier, a first-aid kit, a tactical backpack, active noise-canceling headphones, a sleeping bag, and more.
Over the course of a year, issues related to sizing and comfort, the need for replacement of components, instances of individual purchases, and the cost-effectiveness of centralized supply will be studied.
In parallel, the Ministry of Defense and "Zemlyachky" will refine the summer and winter sets of women's uniforms, taking into account fit, freedom of movement, seasonality, and compatibility with equipment.

| 6 |  ‼️ Thanks to the "I Want to Live" Coordination Center project, a truly "big fish" has surrendered – a GRU special forces soldier.
A serviceman from one of the special operations units of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces (formerly the GRU) surrendered his weapons and is now telling representatives of the project how commanders of the "elite" of the russian army send them on suicidal assaults. According to him, the attitude towards people as "cannon fodder" and the consequences he witnessed of the "liberation" led him to consider surrendering.
The young man realized that he was uncomfortable being a soldier in an occupying army that was taking people's homes away from them. By contacting the project, through which russians can voluntarily surrender, he not only protected himself from senseless death but also set an example for others to follow.
Currently, the former special forces soldier is safe as a prisoner of war, protected by the Geneva Conventions, and is urging other russians who have realized the criminality of the actions of the russian army to contact the "I Want to Live" project.

| 7 |  🤝 Air defense systems, drones, and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – key outcomes of the 36th "Ramstein" format meeting - 🇺🇦 MoD Ukraine.
Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Yevhen Hliba, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatiy, presented the "War Plan" to the partners for the first time, outlining the operations of the Armed Forces.
Following the meeting, partners announced new contributions to strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield:
🇩🇪 Germany – new supplies of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems and F-16 aircraft, as well as the procurement of drones.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom – £100 million for the supply of American weapons through PURL, the delivery of an additional 95,000 drones by the end of the year, and tens of thousands of artillery shells with extended range, funded by other countries.
🇳🇱 Netherlands – a €300 million contribution to the "Drone Line" project and 300 anti-drone missiles.
🇪🇪 Estonia – continued support in 2027 at a level of at least 0.25% of GDP.
🇳🇴 Norway – previously announced package of $200 million for the purchase of Patriot missiles.
🇪🇸 Spain – €2 million for fuel through the NATO Support and Supply Agency, as well as the supply of air defense missiles and artillery ammunition.
🇱🇹 Lithuania – $10 million for PURL.
🇵🇱 Poland – preparing a new aid package worth €50 million, which includes air defense systems.
🇸🇪 Sweden – a support package of $28 million, including a $14 million contribution to PURL.

Russia has again postponed its deadline to fully capture Ukraine's Donbas, now setting March 31, 2027, as the target date, Deputy Presidential Office head Pavlo Palisa said on Sept. 7.
"Russians have failed to achieve any operational success in Donetsk Oblast," Palisa said. "They have already postponed the deadlines for reaching the oblast's administrative borders 15 times."

| 11 |  In August 2026, Russia’s seaborne exports of crude oil, excluding Kazakh oil, fell noticeably to 23.8 million tons - down 8.6% from July and 13.5% from the record level reached in June. The main reason was a sharp decline in shipments from Black Sea ports, from 6.8 to 2.2 million tons - more than a threefold drop. According to the Institute for Black Sea Strategic Studies, this was the result of Ukrainian strikes on Russia’s oil export infrastructure.
Russia partially offset the losses in the Black Sea by increasing exports through the Baltic, Arctic and Far Eastern routes - by a combined total of approximately 2.3 million tons. As a result, the Baltic now accounts for 50% of Russia’s seaborne oil exports, the Far East for 32%, while the Black Sea’s share fell from the usual 20–29% to 9.3%.
‼️ The key takeaway: Ukrainian strikes have not halted Russia’s seaborne oil exports, but they have significantly reshaped their geography. Moscow managed to compensate for roughly half of the losses in the Black Sea by rerouting shipments. However, its ability to further increase exports through the Arctic and Far East is limited. Therefore, if disruptions in the Black Sea persist, the main burden will increasingly shift to Baltic ports.
Important caveat: The reported figure of 23.8 million tons does not represent a measured physical volume of oil. It is the combined deadweight of tankers identified through monitoring. The figure should therefore be treated as an indicator of export dynamics and structure, rather than as the exact tonnage of oil actually exported.

Yet for some reason, those fighting on Russia’s side are predominantly people from the poorest sections of society, residents of small towns and rural areas, prisoners, and members of Indigenous communities. Around 67% of all confirmed deaths are men from settlements with populations of fewer than 100,000 people or from rural areas. In regions such as Tyva and Buryatia, the wartime mortality rate is 30-40 times higher than in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Despite the Kremlin’s aggressive anti-Western rhetoric and the sanctions imposed on Russia, a significant number of children of Russia’s political and regional elites continue to live, study, or own property in NATO and EU countries.
Here are just a few examples:
▪️ Ekaterina Vinokurova (daughter of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov): Graduated from Columbia University in the US and completed a master’s degree in London. She lived in the West for many years and, according to investigative reports, holds US citizenship.
▪️ Nikolay Mizulin (son of Senator Yelena Mizulina): Studied at Oxford. He now lives and works as a lawyer in Belgium (Brussels).
▪️ Andrey and Viktor Yakunin (sons of former Russian Railways chief Vladimir Yakunin): Andrei Yakunin is a prominent businessman who has lived in the UK (London) for many years, where he obtained British citizenship, while his brother Viktor settled in Switzerland.
▪️ The children of Ilya Remezkov (a State Duma deputy from United Russia): Stepan Remezkov graduated from a military college in the US, another son, Nikolay, studied in the UK, while his daughter Mariya lived in Austria.
▪️ Svetlana Gradvol and Rita Khabirova (daughters of Bashkortostan head Radiy Khabirov): Svetlana graduated from a university in Vienna and lives in Austria, while Rita graduated from King’s College and lives in the UK (London).
▪️ Yulia Richard (daughter of Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko): Married to a French citizen and permanently resides in France, where she owns luxury property.
▪️ The daughter of State Duma deputy Aleksey Zhuravlyov, known for his aggressive calls against Europe, permanently resides in Austria.
▪️ Two of Solovyev’s sons, who is currently listening to this nonsense, studied and lived in London.

In comparison: Total U.S. casualties during WW2 (both Europe and Pacific theatre) were around 1.07 million. Note that while singlehandedly winning WW2, doing the largest military landing in history, and winning on two fronts within 4 years, Russia can't even take the Donbas after 5 years and counting, while now facing severe economic decline and already collapsing not only in regards to its oil and gas industry.
An estimated 1.5 million people represents roughly 12.4% (or about one-eighth) of the total population of Russians aged 18 to 25 currently living in Russia.
