Roll and Say speaking games.
All you need is a few dice (so that by dividing the children into pairs or mini-groups, everyone has something to play with) and any board suitable for the topic (food, animals, appearance, actions, professions, and mixed).
The players take turns throwing 2 dice, finding the appropriate square on the board, and practicing key grammar and vocabulary.
For example:
- He has got short black hair. He is wearing sunglasses. He has got a blue jacket.
- It is a zebra. It is black and white. It can run fast.
- He is a farmer He works on a farm. He has got a rake.
- It is bread. I can cook a sandwich. I like to eat it with soup.
- He is doing his homework. He is not lazy. He is wearing glasses.
If you don't want the squares (and the ideas as well) to be repeated, the students can cover them with any chips or buttons.

Writing is not an easy skill! You can't do it without effort, patience, great imagination and good vocabulary.
It's difficult to begin writing serious texts right away, but your students can start from simple stories about various characters and funny ridiculous situations in which they found themselves with randomly selected cards.
Moreover, the more details, the more interesting, but one sentence in each part will be enough to get started.
Funny stories are welcome!
What to do: students blindly choose a character, an action, and a scene, then link them together in a short story and write it down on a worksheet, not forgetting to divide them into Introduction, Body, and Conclusion.
Remind the learners to use the linking words such as (first, at the beginning, then, next, after that, finally, at the end etc).

Fun, creative and effective (especially for shy students or those who simply don't like sharing personal information)!
And if the players don't identify themselves during the answer, then the rest of the group can guess who would give such an answer.
Cards with personalities can be changed every time or the students answer several questions in a row.

The game is very similar to the classic version of UNO. But in this form, it is a great tool for practising and consolidating Animals & Insects vocabulary as well as various related patterns, grammar structures and three types of sentences (+-?). To make a move players must name the word or make up a sentence with it, for example: (+) It is a sheep./ (-) It is not a parrot. / (?) Is it an elephant? etc. You may also use structures with have got / can / there is / there are (I have got a cat. / The fish can't fly. / Is there a fox in the Zoo?).
The game is ideal for learning the key vocabulary and it is also a very useful time-filler or encouragement for good work in the lesson. It's also a great entertainment for summer camps and speaking clubs. Suitable for individual and group lessons with primary school students, as well as with teenagers and even adults (A1-A2 levels).

π βGiving Directions World ChampionshipβΈ
Children are divided into pairs. One of them is a "driverβ, the second is a "navigator". Each team is given a board (a track). The βdrivers" are blindfolded and need markers - their task is to get to the finish line (draw a track) according to their navigators' prompts: turn left, turn right, go straight on / go along, go back, go up / down, etc. They can move both directions: clockwise and counterclockwise. The first team to reach the finish line wins. π
π The set includes 5 tracks of different levels of difficulty, they are located in different countries. This task can be used as a part of a quest, or you may also arrange pair competitions when teaching "Giving Directions", choosing one track of the appropriate level or driving through all of them, starting with the simplest (United States Grand Prix) and ending with the most difficult (Malaysian Grand Prix).
