A simple funny game for revising and spelling the recently learnt vocabulary or new words, as well as a great way to bring students to the topic of the lesson by guessing a keyword or short phrase. There's a whole bowl of candy at stake! Students play in pairs or mini groups. Cut out the candies and put any number in an empty bowl (they are potential mistakes) depending on the complexity of the keyword. The leader thinks of the word, and the others try to guess it by naming one letter in turn. If there is such a letter, then the leader writes it in the appropriate place, if not, then one candy is taken out of the bowl. If there are no more candies in the bowl, the leader wins. The file contains 3 variants of bowls and candies to cut out. You may also circle the candies with a marker on a laminated sheet and erase them in case of errors, or simply cross out one candy piece at a time. Get it here for free👇.

👍 This creative task is suitable for the last lessons of the year or the first ones after the vacations with students of various ages and levels. All they need to do is to complete the sentences by adding their own ideas. How to use: 🗣 Pair Discussion Divide the students into pairs and have them discuss their plans for the upcoming year using questions like "Do you want to...?" or "Would you like to...?". ✍️ "Find someone who wants to..." A mingling activity that not only enhances communicative skills but is also a great way for students to get to know each other better and exchange ideas. 🤝 Collective Planning Students can create a shared plan or a list of goals for the class/group, that will foster unity and teach them to work together. ✅ During the year, you can go back to the New Year's Goals from time to time, celebrate your students' achievements, and work out or revise the Present Perfect tense (e.g., "I have already gone to..."/"I haven't tried/finished it yet, etc."). 🎄 Get it HERE FOR FREE👇

Practice the structure “be going to”, predicting the near future that is about to happen to different characters. To make the task a little more difficult for more advanced students, ask them to explain why they think this particular action will happen. So you will refresh Present Perfect (e.g., Paul is going to play, because he has already opened his toybox). The worksheet can be cut and used as cards. Grab it here for free👇

A set of bright cards for teaching and consolidating Quantities & Containers, and at the same time your students can also revise the food😉 Ask students to think of how each container can be filled (e.g., a glass of milk/juice/water/lemonade, etc.) and what is measured in the same amount (e.g., a slice of bread/pizza/cheese/ham, etc.). The file includes cards with and without signs👇.

🎄 FREE RESOURCE 🎁 Surely, those teachers who work with little kids know this song "What do you want for Christmas?", which our kiddoes like so much. 🎨 We've created a colourful template based on it, that can be used during Christmas lessons and will help young learners learn a song or tell it as a rhyme, connecting movements with the lyrics and simulating a train, a rocket, a robot, a teddy bear, etc. 🖍 The set has options (colour and b&w) for both boys and girls, as well as an empty blank for their own pictures. Kids can try on the roles of authors of a popular single and create their own hits by drawing what they would like to receive as gifts, and then perform it. 🤲 Get this wonderful template FOR FREE👇

🎄 Fabulously exciting set of Christmas games for preparing and celebrating the most magical holiday that everyone loves! Moreover, the games won't even be repeated and you will probably be able to surprise your students. 📜 Follow the link to get our interactive PowerPoint Presentation with detailed description: VK or TPT

Juicy slices of watermelon for teaching CVC words. How to play: Option 1. Bingo. Give the children slices with words. A more difficult option would be a game where the letters on cards are mixed up. It is suitable for strong students or for all group, but when the children have already learnt the words and can read them confidently. Shuffle the seeds on the table face down. The leader (or players in turn) takes one seed and reads the word aloud. The players listen carefully and look at their slices. The player who has this word on the card, crosses it out or covers it with a coin / button or just takes the seed. The winner is the one who is the first to cover all 5 seeds on the card. ❄️ FREE RESOURCE 📝 Me in 2024 Flip Book is a great way to remember what the past year was like, what makes it different from the previous ones and how it influenced personal views and preferences of your students. 🗣 After the children fill in their blanks, divide them into pairs or mini groups so that they can exchange their impressions about 2021, find common interests and discuss where their opinions do not coincide. 📸 P.S. if you have the opportunity to print out photos, then the first page can be decorated with them or children can just draw themselves. 📥 Get it here 👇.

Let's review ordinal numbers using logic and deduction. Ask the students to imagine that they will have to buy an apartment in this building. But before making a deal, they should study all the details: neighbours (if suddenly they arrange noisy parties), the presence of a balcony and windows so that a flat is light, the floor number (in case the elevator breaks down) and other things. After the students complete the task, ask them to discuss in pairs the apartment on which floor they would choose and why, using ordinal numbers. Grab it here for free👇.
