Uzbeks are loud. We speak in a pitch higher than we are supposed to. Well, it really comes down to what being “Uzbek” is really, but whatever interpretation of the word you have, know that we are loud. I have been inside my train card for a little less than an hour and I can feel the pressure building up inside my head from all these noise. Even worst, I forgot my airpods, which would be some refuge at least(

Some life updates Cooked my elbow. It was a pull day. I thought I'd get well after a few days, but the doctor said it is some tendon strain fatigue. Needs at least two weeks. No sudden physical movement. Bukhara run is coming up in less than two weeks. I am in a big trouble. I spent most of my time working on Agora tho. Recruiting two more people. Working on Astrolabe (more on that later). And developing another big product. We also recently reached an oral contract with Unlock to work on a bigger product. In short, mvps, launches and iterations. Working almost full-time. Regarding the academic comeback, we applied to research programs with the team I gathered earlier. Waiting for proper responses. They apparently got quite a buggy platform. And lastly, doing my personal website blog so that I can better mimick the neo-philosophers and the self-made-scholars of our age. Jokes aside, I thought a personal blog would bring a little reputation and boost my social-asset even a tiny bit. How about you guys? How has your summer, or August per se, been?

⚠️ On using ChatGPT LLM tools like GPT, Claude, Gemini and others are advancing really fast these days. This change might be a good reason for some applicants to freely use them. But there is a huge problem about using tools like GPT. ChatGPT is a next-word guesser. That's it. If we take the abbreviation "LLM" and spread it out, it becomes "Large Language Model." It is not a large thinking model. It is a language model. And good writing is not about taking the words and putting them together just like a parrot (it doesn't reflect any intellect). It is about thinking. So, the word LLM is the most obvious proof that tools like GPT can never help you with your essays (yet). It doesn't think about your question. It just looks at what you wrote. And asks: "What word should come next so I don't look stupid?" Then it picks that word. Then another word. Then another. It keeps going until it thinks the answer is done. No deep thinking, no understanding. For intellectual institutions like Harvard, this is not just another shortcut students use to enhance their admission chances, but a flagrant offense to the very essence of their values: authentic thinking, original ideas, and intellectual purpose. And that's why you should avoid using ChatGPT for your essays. But surely there are many better ways of improving your admission chances... Follow for more.
