ಭಾರತದ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಪಾವತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಯುಪಿಐ (UPI - Unified Payments Interface) ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಿರುವ ಸಾರ್ವಕಾಲಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆಯ (All-time Record Transactions) ಸುದ್ದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸುದ್ದಿಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ: ಯುಪಿಐ (UPI) ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ತಿಂಗಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 2,400 ಕೋಟಿ (24.51 ಶತಕೋಟಿ) ವಹಿವಾಟುಗಳ (Transactions) ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾರ್ವಕಾಲಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬರೆದಿದೆ.
UPI ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ರೂಪ: Unified Payments Interface (ಏಕೀಕೃತ ಪಾವತಿ ಇಂಟರ್ಫೇಸ್)
UPI ಆರಂಭವಾದ ವರ್ಷ: ಇದನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ 2016 ರಲ್ಲಿ (ಆರ್ಬಿಐ ಅಂದಿನ ಗವರ್ನರ್ ರಘುರಾಮ್ ರಾಜನ್ ಅವರಿಂದ) ಚಾಲನೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
