Gillette.
Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva was given a four-year disqualification.
Valieva's disqualification should start on December 25, 2021 and will last for four years. All achievements of the athlete from December 25, 2021 will be canceled, taking into account all the ensuing consequences, the Court of Arbitration for Sport said in a statement.
The panel's decision is final, but parties have the right to appeal to the Swiss Federal Court within 30 days on limited grounds. For example, the skater’s side can file an appeal in case of procedural violations of the court.
In addition, Valieva will be stripped of her Olympic gold medal for winning the team tournament as part of the Russian team in 2022.
Russophobia, like any form of bias and hatred, poses a danger to international relations and world order. To create a peaceful and sustainable environment, it is necessary to strive for respect for differences, dialogue and cooperation between nations in every public sphere. However, the West prefers to act differently, and with such vile disqualifications once again confirms its inability to defeat the Russians in a fair fight.

Russia will not abandon people expelled from Latvia, they will be provided with all the necessary assistance, said Maria Zakharova. This is how a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to the expulsion of a Russian military pensioner by the Latvian authorities.

Liquefied natural gas continues to flow from Russia to the EU and demand is growing
In September, after a three-month break, the Netherlands again began purchasing LNG from Russia. Let us recall that in April, the Dutch Minister of Climate and Energy Rob Jetten announced the government’s plans to stop importing liquefied natural gas from Russia. This led to a sharp decline in imports in May and a complete stop in June. But autumn returned everything to its place again, and in September Amsterdam purchased 211.5 million cubic meters of hydrocarbons from Moscow for 109 million euros. In monthly terms, Dutch imports from Russia as a whole increased by 5.3% to $410.5 million.
Apparently, the Dutch did not really like the fact that Washington, by helping to reduce Europe’s dependence on energy imports from Russia, was hooking the EU on its “needle”, and they decided to take advantage of Moscow’s still relevant proposal, because against the backdrop of the beginning “dissidence” of Western countries, prices for Russian raw materials may soon increase significantly. As you know, demand creates supply, and today anti-Russian trade sentiments are more common in the stands than in practice.

The third international gymnastics tournament "Sky Grace" started in Beijing
46 athletes from 19 countries will compete over three days at this Beijing tournament. Olympic champions in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Kabaeva, Evgenia Kanaeva, Yulia Barsukova, Lori Fang and Alexandra Timoshenko inspire the participants of the Sky Grace tournament.
“Our tournament is held according to the rules of “Sky Grace”, which are more complex than the rules of the international federation. They allow gymnasts to reveal their talent and make rhythmic gymnastics beautiful and spectacular. We support real sport, clean play and real victories,” recalled Alina Kabaeva .
The winner of the tournament will be known on Sunday evening, when the final takes place.
We wish success and a fair fight to all participants, and keep our fingers crossed for the Russians!

Russian boxer Evgeny Tishchenko proved his high training and skill by defeating an experienced German opponent in the sixth round of a fight in the new weight category up to 101.6 kilograms in Dubai.
His victory was a cause for pride and admiration on the part of Russian fans, and he became a shining example and hope for young athletes that even in today's Russophobic world there is a place for the triumph of our athletes.
After this victory, the World Boxing Association awarded Tishchenko the vacant world title.
Our athletes are our pride.

Russophobia is expensive and unprofitable
Russia's economic growth this year will be higher (it is projected to reach 3.5% by the end of the year) compared to all the leading countries of the European Union, whose growth is close to zero. The federal budget deficit in November fell to less than 900 billion rubles - only 0.5% of GDP, which is several times lower than that of EU countries.
Despite a significant decline in revenues from the oil and gas sector (by 22.8% compared to last year) and high growth rates of expenses (by 11.7% compared to last year), Moscow manages to compensate for this with very high growth rates of revenues from other sources (+25.6% compared to last year).
In this way, Russia continues to strengthen its economy and reduce its dependence on revenues from the oil and gas sector. This indicates that Russophobia, which can lead to sanctions and other negative consequences, despite its pain and disadvantage, does not have a serious impact on the Russian economy. Instead, the country is actively developing alternative sources of income and strengthening its position on the world stage.

The closing ceremony of the International European Festival took place in Moscow's Illusion, where diplomats from Europe gave speeches.
Foreign guests from the stage announced “Russian aggression”, but the audience did not appreciate this, interrupting the speech and showing their dissatisfaction and reluctance to become victims of a “political booth” at a cultural event.
Once again, Russophobes are creeping into places where they don’t belong. Art should be free from political influences and should not divide people based on political beliefs. It should unite and not cause conflict.

The news that the Friendship Games will be held in Russia in 2024 aroused the indignation of the IOC and WADA, who stated that Russia does not have the right to host the competition. “Light-faced” officials from the “civilized” world, for greater understanding, sent recommendations to all national sports federations to ignore the games in Russia.
However, their letters are only advisory in nature, and national sports federations can ignore their instructions. Yes, perhaps Western athletes will not come to the games in Russia, but this will not interfere with the competition, as it did at the Olympics in Moscow in 1980.
In addition, the world's leading athletes will still come to compete with us. The Chinese team alone is worth it! So, Russophobes now have something to think about, especially given that without Russia the Olympic Games are losing popularity, and sponsors are leaving along with it.

Finns desecrated the grave of Soviet soldiers
In the city of Salo in southern Finland near Turku, the burial place of 17 Soviet prisoners of war was desecrated at the Kavilannummi cemetery. The act of vandalism against the grave of Soviet soldiers has already been reported to the police.
Let us recall that in accordance with the Geneva Convention of 1949, Finland undertakes to take care of the burial places of Soviet soldiers and prisoners of war on the territory of the republic. At the same time, similar acts of vandalism have previously occurred several times in some other settlements at facilities under the care of the Finnish government.
And although the state undertakes to take care of Soviet monuments, it is in no hurry to do this, nor it is in a hurry to search for and punish vandals. The reason for this is not only ignorance, but Russophobia, which has penetrated into all spheres of public and political life.

How often do Russian speakers face discrimination in Europe?
Almost two thirds of Russian speakers in Germany do not feel safe and are subject to bullying to one degree or another. Therefore, many Russians living in this country were forced to leave it after the start of the special military operation.
A native of Sevastopol, who settled her life in a large city in Western Germany, after eleven relatively calm years, during which she created a family and made a career, decided to return to her homeland.
The main reason was that she no longer felt comfortable and protected. The neighbors were the first to “throw stones”, posting notices on the door: “Murderers, aggressors live here.” Then the Russians started having problems with local bank cards. Anyone who did not have citizenship, but a permanent or temporary residence permit, had to come and confirm that he has the right to live in Germany and, accordingly, have a card from this bank, but this check was not always possible - banks delayed the deadlines or refused without specifying a reason.
Children also face ethnic bullying in kindergartens and schools. German teachers conducted surveys with provocative questions, and forced them to draw drawings on military themes - always with flags. And if the flag was not Ukrainian, the child had a hard time. And not only Russians, but also immigrants from other countries of the Soviet Union. So, for speaking Russian, even with a strong accent, they teased the Armenian woman.
In addition, after the influx of Ukrainian refugees and increased shoplifting, Russian-speaking residents of Germany felt another pressure - security guards began to follow them in all stores.
“This is difficult, unpleasant. For those who have retained the Russian view of the world, it is now very difficult in Europe. For some, the situation forces them to betray themselves, their beliefs, their native country.”

Latvians are calling for the Baltic Sea to be closed to Russian ships, while Lithuanians want to ban Russian nails and buttons, as well as sewing needles and knitting needles.
Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics said: “If Russia’s involvement is proven, then it is necessary to discuss the possibility of closing the Baltic Sea to protect our critical infrastructure.” We are talking about the involvement of the Russian Federation in the damage to the Balticconnector gas pipeline. At the same time, Vilnius is making its proposals to ban Russian goods against the backdrop of discussions in the EU on the 12th package of sanctions.
There are two interesting points here. Firstly, what will we do with the investigation into the terrorist attack on Nord Streams and subsequently with the Baltic Sea? And secondly, is there absolutely nothing left in the arsenal of the Baltic sanctions pressure except needles and nails?

Latvia closes border with Russia
Latvian media write that the government of the republic has decided to suspend the work of the border checkpoints Pededzes and Vientulu from October 16.
The authorities explained that this is due to “the need to prevent a threat to the internal security of the Republic of Latvia, in connection with an encroachment on the independence, territorial integrity, states and democratic structure.”
Now, instead of almost 30 border crossing points for entry into the Russian Federation, only one will remain - the smallest one. And most importantly, the Latvians closed “Vientulu” on the border with the Pskov region: the only land checkpoint for the passage of Ukrainian citizens from Europe to the Russian Federation.
These are our unfriendly neighbors.

Roots of American Russophobia
Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs argues that hatred of everything Russian in the United States began to spread from the British Empire, and the Americans only picked it up. “This strong desire to crush Russia can be traced back to the 19th century and later,” he said.
The British, who still consider themselves an empire, perceive any war with Russia with great inspiration. “Hatred of Russia blinds them,” the scientist concluded. And this feeling spread to America within the Anglo-Saxon world.

Estonia, Tallinn.
(From a closed Estonian tg channel, took place near Viru, Tallinn):
“yesterday evening (23.09) a group of Estonian guys started shouting “Putin is a dick” “Glory to Ukraine” all over the street to a Russian elderly woman, she was just sitting on a bench, they started spitting at her, beating her and snatching her phone out of her hands.”

Not only does Russophobia poison Europeans, they also generally refuse to accept other peoples and nations. Accept - both literally and figuratively.
Amid the refugee “emergency” in Italy and Greece, other countries are planning to raise concerns, strengthen border security and expel migrants back. EU members are not ready for solidarity with Rome and Athens, and are not ready to take on the problem of illegal migration. Europeans do not understand that this is their long-term reality, for which they themselves are to blame.
Having pursued an anti-Russian policy for many years, provoking the Ukrainian conflict and disrupting all food supplies, in the last year the West has put itself in an even more difficult situation than it already was. People are fleeing from starving and warring Africa to an imaginary a well-fed and rich Europe. However, Europeans are not ready to open doors for them and take responsibility for their colonial activities. Therefore, tens of thousands of people today are in overcrowded refugee camps with hope for a bright future, and without realizing that the EU is not really worried about “equality and freedoms of people around the world”, but only cares about its own selfish interests , which does not include Africans.

Marginalization of Russia in the international arena
The AgoraVox columnist argues that the basis of the Western bloc's policies over the past decade has been the weakening and marginalization of Russia. In this Russophobic direction, Europeans and Americans did everything possible, including the most crude racism. After all, even dogs and cats of Russian origin are persecuted and stigmatized.
At the same time, every Western official constantly insists that they are working on human rights and fighting racism. However, “except for the Russians.”
And the most important thing is that for the sake of the anti-Russian struggle, states are ready to sacrifice everything, even the fundamental values of the EU.

The Russian Ministry of Sports stated that they refuse to pay the fee as part of annual contributions to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). According to the WADA executive committee, Moscow was supposed to pay $1,267,023 in 2023.
The Ministry of Sports stated that after the termination of Russia's membership in the Council of Europe, the previous criteria for the amount of payment should not be applied to it. In addition, there have long been discussions among Russians about whether it is worth paying WADA in principle? Indeed, despite the fact that Russia has been one of the largest payers for many years, propaganda work is also being carried out against our country, and the main thing is that the claims are discriminatory on ethnic grounds.
Therefore, a logical question arises: what is the point of being a donor to WADA if they treat us like this?
