While trying to flash Xiaomi.EU on a Redmi Note 13 Series CN Device, Xiaomi added new screen, saying "this software version isn't supported on your device" when device is CN and running Global ROM. The device will ask the user to either go back or shutdown the device and thus the setup/boot wizard will NOT be completed.

A hacker by the name XenZen, is selling data of 375 Million Airtel customers, 2nd largest telecom operator in India, on breachforums for 50,000 US$in XMR (a cryptocurrency that uses blockchain technology to make transactions anonymous & untraceable)
The database is updated till June 2024 and includes details of users such as phone number, email adress, permanent & local address both, date of birth (D.O.B), parents name, Adhaar Card details (Govt. ID), Photo proof details etc
This hacker also claims data he previously sold Indian Ministry of External Affairs Diplomatic Passport Holders Data Leak successfully.
Ironically, Airtel made a blog about consequences of data breach and it even established Airtel Secure Intelligence Center—a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre (SOC) designed specifically for "enterprise cybersecurity" and now Airtel's data itself available for sale of 375 Million people

Here's how the exploit worked:
1. Malicious Mini-App: Attackers would create malicious Telegram mini-apps.
2. Deceptive Pop-up: When launched, the mini-app would display a seemingly harmless pop-up window asking the victim to click "OK."
3. Session Hijacked: Clicking "OK" unknowingly granted the attacker control over the victim's Telegram session, even bypassing two-factor authentication!
This vulnerability was particularly dangerous as it could be easily embedded in seemingly harmless clickbait, putting countless users at risk.

* The vulnerability was reported to Telegram on March 9, 2024.

The 2024 edition of Windows 11 LTSC has finally dropped. As always, this version is extremely lightweight and smooth. I've been running it on my PC since yesterday. The experience has been decent, it consumes only 2.9/32gb RAM with 1% CPU usage on idle.
An interesting thing to note here is the fact that Paint and Calculator are in their legacy Windows 7 versions. By default, you can make a local account without disconnecting from the internet and as always, Microsoft Store is not installed.
Overall, for those who do not like to use mods on their system, this is definitely the choice to go for.

The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has urged the government to ban the sale of wifi 6E routers that utilize the 6 GHz spectrum band for data transmission, as the government has NOT yet decided on the use of these frequencies.
COAI, representing major telecom players like Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, alleges that these routers are being sold illegally through online platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Moglix, as well as offline traders.
Acc to COAI, the sale of equipment for 6 GHz band utilization, which has not yet been assigned for this purpose or has not been declared as license-exempt by the government is illegal and such sale would only result in unauthorized transmissions in our country, thus it should be banned immediately in the country.
