| 2 | 🗓 The Day of 'Ashura | День Ашура
Ashura is the tenth day of the blessed month of Muharram, which falls on July 5th this year.
Ibn Abbas narrates:
The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina and saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura. He asked them about that.
They replied, "This is a good day, the day on which Allah rescued the Children of Israel from their enemy. So, Moses fasted this day."
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "We have more claim over Moses than you."
So, the Prophet fasted on that day and ordered (the Muslims) to fast (on that day).
(Al-Bukhari, Muslim)
The Prophet (ﷺ) also said:
"Fast the day of 'Ashura, and be different from the Jews with regard to it; fast the day before it or the day after it."
(Ahmad)
To summarize, it is recommended to fast on the day of Ashura. It also a day before or after it. This means we can fast July 4th & 5th OR July 5th & 6th.

День ‘Ашура - это десятый день благословенного месяца Мухаррам, который в этом году выпадает на 5 июля.
Ибн ‘Аббас рассказывал:
«Когда Пророк, мир ему и благословение Аллаха, прибыл в Медину, он увидел, что иудеи постятся в день ‘Ашура. Тогда он спросил их: 'Что это за день?'. Они ответили: 'Это – благой день, тот день, когда Аллах спас сынов Исраиля от их врага, и поэтому Муса стал соблюдать пост в этот день'. Пророк, мир ему и благословение Аллаха, также советовал нам:
«Поститесь в день ‘Ашура и отличайтесь от иудеев, соблюдая пост за день до него или следующий день» (Ахмад).
Поэтому желательно поститься в этот день и еще день до или после него, т.е. 4 и 5 июля, либо 5 и 6 июля. | 467 |
| 3 | Альхамдулиллях, в этот четверг — День ‘Арафа.
Некоторые учёные считают его лучшим днём в году, тогда как Ляйлятуль-Кадр — лучшая ночь.
Пост:
Пост в День ‘Арафа искупает грехи за два года — прошедший и будущий. [Муслим, Абу Дауд, ан-Насаи, Ибн Маджа]
Мольбы (дуа):
Лучшие мольбы — это мольбы в День ‘Арафа. [Тирмизи, Ахмад, Малик]
Такбир (восхваление величия Аллаха):
«Поминайте Аллаха в назначенные дни». [Коран, 2:203]
Начиная с утреннего (фаджр) намаза в День ‘Арафа, становится ваджибом (обязательным) произносить такбир один раз сразу после каждого фард намаза — как мужчинам, так и женщинам. Это продолжается до послеполуденной (аср) молитвы 13-го числа месяца Зуль-хиджа. Всего — 23 намаза за 5 дней.
Текст такбира:
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ
Аллааху акбар, Аллааху акбар, ляя иляяха иль-ляЛлааху, уаЛлааху акбар, Аллааху акбар, уа лилляяхиль-хамд.
Смысл: Аллах Велик, Аллах Велик, нет бога, кроме Аллаха. И Аллах Велик, Аллах Велик, и Аллаху — вся хвала.
Пусть Аллах Всевышний дарует нам успех провести этот день наилучшим образом! Аминь. | 499 |
| 4 | Alhamdulillah, this Thursday is the Day of 'Arafah.
Some scholars consider it the best day of the year, while Laylatul-Qadr is the best night.
Fasting:
Fasting on the Day of `Arafah expiates sins for two years — the past year and the coming one. [Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah]
Duas:
The best of supplications is the one made on the Day of `Arafah. [Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Malik]
Takbir (Proclaiming Allah’s Greatness):
Remember Allah during the appointed days. [Qur’an 2:203]
Starting from the Fajr prayer on ‘Arafah, it is wajib (obligatory) to recite the takbir once immediately after each fard prayer — for both men and women. This continues until the Asr prayer on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah. In total, that makes 23 prayers over five days.
The takbir goes as follows:
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ
Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar, Laa ilaaha illaLlaahu.
WaLlaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar wa lillaahil-hamd.
Translation:
God is the Greatest, God is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah. And God is the Greatest, God is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise. | 431 |

'Arafah is a great day to fast and make a lot of dua. Eid is the day of celebration, feasting and sacrifice.

| 7 | ❗️Remember to pay Sadaqat ul-Fitr before Eid Prayer
Ramadan is almost over, inshaAllah we'll celebrate Eid very soon! ❤️
There is a special type of charity, we observe at the end of Ramadan. Ibn Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) enjoined Zakatul-Fitr as a purification for the fasting person from idle talk and obscenities, and to feed the poor. Whoever pays it before the (Eid) prayer, it is an accepted Zakah, and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is (ordinary) charity.” [Ibn Majah, 1827]

❗️Напоминание о фитр-садака
Рамадан уже заканчивается, совсем скоро праздник Ид аль-Фитр (Ураза Байрам)! ❤️
До праздника следует раздать фитр-садака (закят аль-фитр) - милостыню в помощь нуждающимся мусульманам.
Ибн ‘Аббас (да будет доволен ими Аллах) рассказывал: «Пророк (мир ему и благословение Аллаха) сделал обязательной выплату закятуль-фитр для очищения постящегося от лишних слов, сказанных им, и грубостей, и как пропитание для неимущих» (Абу Дауд, Ибн Маджа).
Размер этой милостыни, кто дает и когда упоминаются в хадисе от Ибн Умара (да будет доволен ими Аллах): «Пророк (мир ему и благословение Аллаха) возложил выплату 1 саа фиников или 1 саа ячменя в качестве закята аль-фитр на каждого мусульманина, молодого и старого, мужчину и женщину, свободного и раба. Пророк (мир ему и благословение Аллаха) повелел выплачивать его до праздничной молитвы» (аль-Бухари).
Размер в денежном выражении на человека при расчете по ячменю – 200 рублей, по изюму – 1100 рублей. Давать следует и за взрослых, и за детей, выплатить нужно до праздничного намаза.

| 9 | As-salaamu 3alaikum! We are witnessing the last ten nights of Ramadan.
Among them, we look for Laylat ul-Qard (the Night of Divine Decree), which is better than a thousand months! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us the dua to say during this night:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّى
This dua can be translated as: O Allah, You are the One who pardons completely and You love to pardon, so pardon me completely (leaving no trace of my sins).

Среди этих ночей мы ищем Ляйлятуль-Кадр — Ночь Предопределения, которая лучше тысячи месяцев! Пророк (мир ему и благословение) научил нас делать особое дуа в эту ночь:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Эту дуа можно перевести так:
«О Аллах, воистину, Ты — Прощающий грехи полностью, не оставляя от них и следа, и Ты любишь полное прощение, так прости же меня полностью (не оставляя ни следа от моих грехов)».

Here are a few updates from us:
1. iSyllabus Diploma course has just kicked off. Shaykhs Ridwan and Amer are our teachers, we took from them the rulings of prayer, fasting, and purification among other topics. This enabled us to build the app. So we keep recommending it each year.
2. NamazApp (iOS) has a new format of articles, which is a blend between reading, listening, and quizzes. The first instance is already available in the Learn tab under the name of Tawheed - Unique Oneness.
3. An updated version of Joode app is available for Android. We've also improved the in-lesson UI in the iOS version.
