Archeologists have found a 1000 year old Eastern Roman coin in Norway. One side of the coin is a depiction of Christ, and the other side has a depiction of Emperor Basil II and Constantine VIII. The inscription says “Jesus Christ, King of those who Rule”.

December 9th, 1950 1,000 Greek expeditionaries, called Sparta Battalion, arrived in Korea to fight communism. In 1953, a film called The Glory Brigade was made in honor of them.

St Gregory of Nyssa teaches that Paradise and Hell do not exist from God’s point of view, but from man’s point of view. It is a subject of man’s choice and condition. If we have allowed our hearts to be purified, then God’s presence will be healing, joyful, and life-giving. If we refuse God’s healing embrace, then His love will burn like fire.
