[Kiev Mayor] Vitali Klitschko called on the government to not restrict movement between the right and left banks of Kyiv during air raid alerts and to ease the curfew.
The Kyiv City Council appealed to the government regarding changes to the capital's security protocols. This is necessary for the efficient operation of logistics and to ensure that people can get to their homes or shelters, including from train stations, as trains are currently delayed and arriving during curfew hours.
Specifically, the Kyiv administration has called on the government to:
Allow car traffic across bridges between the right and left banks during air raid alerts.
Ease the curfew.
Not restrict the operation of the Syrtsiv-Pecherska metro line ("green" line) during air raid alerts.
