. Logitech does not offer any software for connecting or managing their devices on Linux. While the Linux kernel now does a great job of connecting to Logitech receivers, there is no support for switching which Logitech receiver a device links to. Solaar is an open source project that has been around for a long time that let's you connect your Logitech mouse or keyboard to another receiver, which is handy if you have a device or receiver go bad. Orgzly is a really good note app on Android for taking notes and organizing them. It is one of the best apps for taking notes on Android. Emacs, running in Org-Mode, is the Linux compliment to Orgzly. When you open a ".org" file in Emacs, it will go into Org-Mode, and Emacs will behave in a way useful for taking notes. To get Orgzly / Org-Mode Syncing: (click each step for more detailed instructions) 1. Create an eCloud / Nextcloud Account, and create a Folder for Sync. which will be called "OrgzlyNotes" in this example. 2. Install Orgzly on Android, and Sync to the eCloud / Nextcloud "OrgzlyNotes" folder 3. Install "Nextcloud Desktop" onto Linux, and Sync the eCloud "OrgzlyNotes" folder to a local "OrgzlyNotes" folder 4. Install Emacs and Create/Edit .org files in the synced "OrgzlyNotes" local folder. . Here is a command line for copying one hard drive (or thumb drive) to another, with a progress bar, and and ETA. Clone backup of a hard drive: - 1st device, which is /dev/sdb in this example, is the source - 2nd device, which is /dev//dev/mmcblk0 in this example, is the destination ------------------------------------------------- sudo sh -c 'pv < /dev/sdb > /dev/mmcblk0' Note: The destination drive must be at least as big as the source drive. CAUTION: If you swap the drives, and accidentally put the destination drive first in the command, you will overwrite your data and lose it.
