It comes with FydeOS pre-installed which is based on Google's ChromiumOS, with Google's Android Playstore built in, so it runs Android apps out of the box. This means it is a horrible privacy focused tablet from the factory. The real appeal of this tablet is you can wipe the factory OS, and install Linux on it. The touch screen did not work in Debian . . . yet. A tablet without touch is mostly useless. . Do you want to use the same keyboard & mouse across all the computers on your desk? Barrier is the open source software KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) solution that will enable you to use a keyboard & mouse connected to one computer across any other computer by simply moving your mouse pointer out of one screen & onto another screen. It even takes the clipboard with it to other computers, & other operating systems. 1. Install Barrier on the computer that has the keyboard and mouse, and set that computer as the "server". 2. Install & set up Barrier on any other devices that you want to access. Point those devices to your Barrier "server" IP address. On Debian based distros such as Ubuntu & Mint you can find Barrier in the Software Center, or type: sudo apt install barrier For other operating systems it's not so easy, and it's a real pain on MacOS. Unfortunately many apps are only offered in the .appimage format, which is the Linux version of an MS Windows .exe file. Grabbing programs in this manner can lead to a disorganized confusing mess of what is on your system and where. ⚡️Zap is a command line tool for downloading Appimages from GitHub or unofficial Appimage repositories. Zap is very helpful for keeping track of your Appimages, & placing a menu entry. To install Zap: 1. However, for all practical purposes most Linux distributions are based on 3 "base" distributions. Those are: 1. Debian 2. Fedora 3. Arch Sure there are other base distros, but they aren't as common. Aside from privacy and security, "convergence" is one of the main appeals of Linux phones. Linux phones are leaps and bounds ahead of Android and iPhone when it comes to using your phone as a computer. This is the Librem5 USA phone, which is currently in stock for $2,000. It may be old slow hardware, but Purism is one of the main developers of Mobian Phosh (the Debian version of Mobile Linux), so they have things working fairly well. . LibreWolf is not one of the standard supported browsers in KeePassXC, so you need to add it's connection manually. 1. Create a .mozilla folder in your home folder if it doesn't exist.

2. Open KeePassXC, and got to Tools ->Setting ->Browser Integration 3. Check the "Firefox" checkbox 4. Click "OK" button. This will create the org.keepassxc.keepassxc_browser.json file in the ~/.mozilla/native-messaging-hosts folder. 5. Create the native-messaging-hosts folder and the .librewolf folder in your home folder.
