Though I am over you, my love still lives on. For the love I showed lies in the midst of the pages of countless written diaries, completed and lost. Written love can never die, and this piece is another evidence of it. #them ~©Darkpit

Oftentimes I do wonder if I throw a love book in the blazing fire, what would the smell of its ashes be like? Would it smell like lost hope or a close rebound? Or will it smell like love that's born or the betrayal once found? Would it sound like facades that are being extracted of truth like the history books? To write a hundred trash pages but none close enough to define "love" Did I not experience it enough or was it just not right? But what or who decides which love is right? Is it the one you got and saw it slipped right through your eyes? Or the one you dreamt of having it beneath the fingertips of your hands, the one that went unrequited? I've reached a level where my own words get twisted, and it spells itself "a hopeless end". I guess its my dictionary that's messed up. Hence, I close my coffee lid to push down the smell of the betrayal and get something less to gulp the ashes that burns my throat. #thetruth ~©Darkpit

They don't look at you the same way you look at them. You wouldn't know that, for you decide to blind yourself to the truth because your heart aches when the blinds start falling. They won't recognize you if you fail to hide your blemishes, for their "love" is meant differently when it falls from their parting lips. Your hurt isn't visible to them simply because they do not look at you the way you look at them. #you #them ~©Darkpit

I wrote a complete book with a pen that had no ink. Filled with pages of salted water muddied across the pages, seeping into every unknown letter until it dripped its last drop. I read every word in that silent tome, each sentence whispered in the wind, each chapter under the silhouette of my shadow. My fingers tracing the lines of the stories I never got to finish. Feeling the weight of untold tales, until the final drop of salted water dried upon the last page, leaving nothing but a ghost of a book and echoes of its muffled screams. #struggle ~©Darkpit
