CA Foundation and CA Inter Results are going to be declared on 4th March 2025

The new Income Tax Bill 2025 has been passed, and it brings some clarity to the ongoing discussions. As per the new bill, only Chartered Accountants (CAs) are authorized to conduct tax audits. The definition of "accountant" includes only CAs, excluding Company Secretaries (CSs) and Cost Accountants (CMAs). As per Sec 515 (3) (b) - 'Accountant' means a Chartered Accountant !! Sec 63 for Tax Audit to be conducted by Accountant i.e. Chartered Accountant only

It's the end of an era for one of India's greatest industrialists and philanthropists May his soul rest in eternal peace. Ratan Tata died at the age of 86 at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, where he had been undergoing treatment due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. According to reports, chairman emeritus of the Tata Group was in critical condition in the intensive care unit. Honored with numerous accolades, including the nation's second-highest civilian award Padma Vibhushan and the Knight Grand Cross of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Ratan Tata was widely respected for his business acumen and unwavering integrity.
