It's telling that they refuse to see video game and film music as a gateway into a love for music. How many people could they get into classical music if they just embraced this aspect. But they're stubborn and bitter that people don't like the "higher" art of modern and postmodern classical music.

One aspect that's little understood by anyone who hasn't studied the cultural history of the Cold War is from a purely ideological perspective the completely counterintuitive notion that the Soviets were the conservative musicians and the Americans were the ones that supported bizarre and experimental forms of music. This was the same policy as to why the CIA funded and spread Abstract Expressionist movements, ostensibly to show that the liberal and capitalist West valued free expression while the communists were totalitarian in it (in reality they were far more conservative via a mandated style guide on what was allowed culturally). What the West promoted through largely jewish artists was clearly subversive in nature.
One side effect of this though was that U.S. occupation forces gave all nontonal musicians a free pass while anyone who composed in the traditional European style was scrutinized as being secretly a Nazi. We are still living in the effects of this policy, now amplified and pervasive.

What's understated here in this allegation that user data was not being deleted on request is how many people had access to user data. During the Musk acquisition I was told by someone involved in the transition that this widespread access was immediately shutdown, the one thing I will give Musk credit for. The allegation this person made to me is that before doxes of people came out, users on the site experienced a sudden temporary lock down of their accounts. What this person alleged is that due to the easy access many employees had to Twitter data, the lockdown was part of a data scraping process with the data then being handed over to doxers. The reason this wasn't known was to maintain the illusion that one slip up is what caused a person to be doxed when the reality is if you used Twitter they already knew who you were and knew what to look for to seem like they were super sleuths. Bread crumbs are easy to find when you know what to look for

+1Former Twitter engineer Randall Lin recounts a story from his college days where a foreign student (presumably some sort of Asian) got off light for obviously cheating, the excuse being essentially that their culture doesn't impart how serious of an academic infraction this is. If the student were Indian I cam certainly believe they probably do think this, but any other rate we have an admission that preferential treatment was given to someone who was almost certainly not White. The lesson that Lin apparently took from this is...you have to have a delicate touch on punishments?
You feel a sort of hypernormalization at how these anecdotes are just rattled off without any further inquiry. Anyone who has been in academia recently knows how rampant cheating and plagiarism is and they know the preferential treatment that is given to anyone who is non-White and Jewish. If conservatives want to feign they care about academic integrity the whole system needs to be uprooted.
