*⭕Tension escalates in Indian Punjab over arrest of farm leader by police*

Tensions escalated in the Indian state of Punjab after police detained prominent farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal at the Khanauri border last night.
According to News Agency, Dallewal was scheduled to begin an indefinite fast to press for farmers’ demands but was taken into custody while sleeping in a makeshift shelter near the border.
Following his detention, Dallewal was rushed to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMC&H) for a medical check-up. Despite being under strict observation, he refused to eat or drink, continuing his protest in detention.
The operation, involving 200 police personnel from Patiala and Sangrur districts, was carried out with precision. A senior police official stated, “We avoided any confrontation with farmer union members by keeping the operation discreet. It was completed within 20 minutes without resistance.”
Dallewal’s detention sparked widespread outrage among farmers. Hundreds of activists affiliated with the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) gathered at the Khanauri border in protest, while many others were stopped by police en route to the site.
Prominent figures, including Fatehgarh Sahib MP Amar Singh, senior Congress leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, and various trade and farmer unions, condemned the detention.
Amidst the growing unrest, another farmer leader, Sukhjeet Singh Hardo Jhande, began an indefinite fast at the protest site, signaling that the agitation would continue despite Dallewal’s detention.
The situation remains tense as farmers demand justice and the immediate release of their leader.

A cybersecurity firm co-founded by Indian entrepreneur Rajat Khare has been accused of using legal tactics to silence investigative journalism across the globe, according to Reporters Without Borders (RSF).
According to News Agency, the organization reports that multiple media outlets in countries including the US, Switzerland, France, and India have faced legal pressure to retract or alter articles investigating the firm, Appin, which has been linked to “ethical hacking” services. RSF claims that at least 15 media outlets have received letters demanding retractions, with five facing legal proceedings.
Khare, who co-founded Appin in 2003, has been accused of running a company involved in unethical hacking practices. Investigations by prominent publications like The New Yorker and Reuters have detailed how Appin allegedly provided hacking services to steal sensitive information from high-profile targets, including politicians and business executives worldwide. Despite these allegations, Khare’s legal teams have launched extensive lawsuits against journalists and publications.
RSF condemns the use of “SLAPPs” (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) and urges courts to reject such lawsuits that suppress media freedom. The organization highlights the chilling effect these legal actions have on press freedom, with many media outlets retracting or modifying their stories to avoid legal retaliation.
The ongoing legal battle has raised concerns about the growing influence of wealthy individuals using the court system to muzzle investigative reporting on controversial matters.

خبررساں ادارے کے مطابق بھارتی ذرائع ابلاغ کی ایک رپورٹ میں کہاگیا ہے کہ بھارتی فوج کے ایک اعلیٰ افسر نے اپنی کمان میں کام کرنے والی 8 خواتین افسروں کو انا کے مسائل کا شکار قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان میں انسانی ہمدردی نہیں پائی جاتی جس پر اُنہیں شدید تشویش ہے۔17 مائونٹین اسٹرائیک کور کے کمانڈر کی حیثیت سے 20 نومبر کو اپنی مدت پوری کرنے والے لیفٹیننٹ جنرل راجیو پوری نے مشرقی کمان کے جنرل آفیسر کمانڈنگ لیفٹننٹ جنرل رام چندر تیواری کو خط لکھ کر انتہائی اہم ان ہاؤس جائزے کے نتائج سے آگاہ کیا۔لیفٹننٹ جنرل راجیو پوری نے اپنی رپورٹ میں کرنل رینک کی خواتین افسروں کے درمیان باہمی تعلقات کے بارے میں سنگین خدشات اور سمجھ بوجھ کے فقدان کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ خواتین افسران میں جھوٹی شکایتیں لگانے اور ذاتی انا کے مسائل بہت زیادہ ہیں ، حیرت انگیز طور پر یہ خواتین افسران اس وقت ایئر ڈیفنس ، سگنلز ، آرڈیننس ، انٹیلی جنس ، انجینئرز اور سروس کور جیسے یونٹس کی کمان کرتی ہیں۔لیفٹیننٹ جنرل راجیو پوری نے کہا ہے کہ کرنل رینک کی خواتین افسران اپنے فیصلوں کو ہی درست سمجھتی ہیں کیوں کہ اُنہیں کمانڈر بننے کی تربیت نہیں دی جاتی۔بھارتی جنرل نے کہا کہ گزشتہ ایک سال کے دوران خواتین افسران کی کمان والے یونٹس میں آفیسر مینجمنٹ کے مسائل میں اضافہ ہوا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ خواتین افسران باہمی احترام کے ذریعے تنازعات کے حل کے بجائے طاقت کے ذریعے اختلافات کے خاتمے پر زیادہ زور دیتی ہیں۔بھارتی جنرل نے یکم اکتوبر کو لکھے گئے خط میں کہا ہے کہ حالیہ دنوں میں خواتین افسران میں کچھ معاملوں میں تعصب اور عدم اعتماد واضح تھا۔بھارتی جنرل نے کہا کہ ان مسائل کی وجہ سے یونٹوں میں تناؤ بڑھتا جارہا ہے اور خواتین افسروں کو جونیئر افسروں کے بارے میں توہین آمیز بیانات دینے کی خواہش ہوتی ہے تاکہ وہ ماتحت افسروں کی کارکردگی کو بھی اپنے نام کر سکیں۔ جنرل راجیو پوری نے اپنی رپورٹ میں مسائل کو حل کرنے کے لیے جنسی مساوات کے بجائے صنفی غیر جانبداری پر توجہ دینے کا مطالبہ کیا۔ اُنہوں نے پوسٹنگ اور انتخاب کے لیے صنفی غیر جانبدار پالیسی کی تجویز پیش کی۔واضح رہے کہ گزشتہ سال بھارتی سپریم کورٹ کے حکم کے بعد 108 خواتین افسران کو سلیکٹ گریڈ کرنل کے عہدے پر ترقی دینے کے لیے ایک خصوصی سلیکشن بورڈ قائم کیا گیا تھا۔

بھارت میں راشٹریہ شوشت سماج پارٹی کے سربراہ سوامی پرساد موریہ نے کہا ہے کہ اُترپردیش کی یوگی حکومت نے سنبھل میں جان بوجھ کر فساد کروایا ہے۔
خبررساں ادارے کے مطابق سوامی پرساد موریہ نے ایک بیان میں کہا کہ ہر مسجد میں مندر کی تلاش کرنے والے غلط طریقہ اپنا رہے ہیں۔ اگر ہر مندر کو گرا کر مسجد بنائی گئی ہے تو ہر بودھ مٹھ کو گرا کر مندر بنائے گئے ہیں۔ اس سے بھی کوئی انکار نہیں کر سکتا۔ اُنہوں نے کہا کہ میں پہلے ہی کہہ چکا ہوں کہ کیدار ناتھ اور بدری ناتھ بودھ مٹھ ہی تھے۔ آئین میں واضح طور پر کہا گیا ہے کہ مذہبی مقامات کو اسی طرح رکھا جائے گا جیسا کہ وہ 1947ء میں تھے۔ سوامی پرساد موریہ نے کہا کہ افسران کو جے شری رام کے نعرے لگانے والوں کو اپنے ساتھ لے جانے کی کیا ضرورت تھی؟ اسی سے واضح ہو رہا ہے کہ فساد کس نے اور کیوں کروایا۔
دریں اثناء اُترپردیش اسمبلی میں حزبِ اختلاف کے رہنما ماتا پرساد پانڈے نے بھی سنبھل تشدد پر بی جے پی کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا۔ اُنہوں نے کہا کہ پولیس کے مال خانوں میں کئی طرح کا اسلحہ ہوتا ہے جس کی جب ضرورت ہوتی ہے پولیس اسکا استعمال کرتی ہے۔ سرکاری بندوق سے گولی چلانے پر وہ ملزم بن جائیں گے۔ پولیس کے پاس مال خانے میں غیرقانونی اسلحہ بھی ہوتا ہے اور یہ پولیس والوں کو بھی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ اُنہیں اس کا استعمال کب اور کہاں کرنا ہوتا ہے۔ اُنہوں نے کہا کہ بی جے پی شمالی ہند میں فرقہ وارانہ کشیدگی ہمیشہ برقرار رکھنا چاہتی ہے تاکہ اسے فائدہ ملتا رہے۔

*⭕Muslim student abducted, assaulted, forced to Chant Hindutva slogans in UP*

Gulfam Saifi, an IIT student and aspiring national-level shooter, was allegedly abducted and brutally assaulted in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, in what his family describes as a targeted attack.
According to News Agency, the incident occurred on Saturday evening when Gulfam was returning home from his shooting practice.
A group of 3-4 men, according to Gulfam’s family, abducted him and took him to an abandoned swimming pool at Victoria Park. There, they forced him to chant “Jai Shri Ram” while subjecting him to a violent beating. The attackers reportedly stripped Gulfam and left him unconscious after the assault.
Gulfam is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at a private hospital. His family has expressed deep concerns, calling the attack a deliberate act of violence against their son.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and economist Subramanian Swamy has stirred a huge political debate by calling for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step down in the wake of allegations surrounding the Adani Group.
According to News Agency, Swamy’s remarks, made both in public and on social media, highlight the mounting pressure on the BJP government following allegations of bribery and securities fraud against Adani by U.S. authorities.
“Modi must now resign from public life,” Swamy stated on social media platform X, warning that evidence emerging from U.S. courts could severely damage the Indian government’s reputation. Swamy added that Modi’s resignation would prevent further harm to his own standing and the BJP’s future electoral prospects.
Swamy attributed the BJP’s diminished performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to what he described as Modi’s ineffective leadership, criticizing his handling of major national issues such as economic policy, unemployment, and foreign affairs.
Referring to the prime minister’s controversial statements on China, Swamy reiterated his criticism of Modi’s remarks during the Galwan Valley standoff. “Modi has betrayed Bharat Mata by saying ‘koyi aaya nahin,’ giving a clean chit to the Chinese, who by now have grabbed 4,065 square kilometers of Ladakh land,” Swamy said, recalling his earlier remarks from March.
Swamy’s call for resignation comes as the Adani Group faces serious allegations in the United States, including bribery and securities fraud. While Modi has not been directly implicated, Swamy asserted that the scandal tarnishes the government’s credibility. He warned of further fallout, suggesting that upcoming evidence could be “devastating.”
In his post on X, Swamy remarked, “Modi must now resign from public life because of what material will come out in U.S. courts from Adani & co will devastate Indian government’s reputation.”
Swamy also criticized Modi’s involvement in religious and cultural events, accusing him of exploiting such moments for political gain. Referencing the Ram Mandir inauguration, Swamy wrote, “Modi is muscling into the Prana Prathishta Puja, when his PM status is a zero in the Puja, nor has he followed Bhagwan Ram in his personal life.”
He further emphasized that Modi’s governance has deviated from the principles of “Ram Rajya,” particularly in addressing economic and social challenges.
Known for his outspoken and independent stance, Swamy’s criticism represents a rare internal dissent within the BJP.

Swami Prasad Maurya, leader of the Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party, has said that the BJP led Uttar Pradesh government is deliberately instigating violence in Sambhal over Shahi Masjid issue.
According to News Agency, Swami Prasad Maurya, in a statement, asserted that if every mosque has been built upon a temple, the same logic applies to Buddhist monasteries being turned into temples. He stated that he had already asserted that Kedarnath and Badrinath were originally Buddhist monasteries.
Maurya emphasized that the Constitution clearly states that religious sites should remain as they were in 1947. He questioned why officers needed to take individuals chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ along with them, suggesting this was a clear indication of who was behind the violence.
Meanwhile, the Leader of the Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey, condemned BJP over the violence in Sambhal, saying that UP police is stockpiling illegal weapons in their arsenals.
He said the police knew when and where to use these weapons and BJP has vested interest in maintaining communal tension in North India for political gains.
