K18, Miro, and Wanderlog all use content to grow. But their strategies barely look alike. π
π K18 built trust through hairstylists, education, and creators.
𧩠Miro connects search directly to useful product templates.
βοΈ Wanderlog turns what users create into content people can discover through search and social.
Three brands and three very different ways to make content work.
And thatβs a good reminder before copying another brandβs strategy: look at why it works for them first. Their product, audience, and discovery path might be completely different from yours.
We broke down all three playbooks - with numbers, examples, and ideas you can borrow for your own strategy π

| 3 | POV: conferences are boring.
Adsy at SEO Estonia: absolutely not. π
A little SEO, a little networking, a suspicious amount of dancingβ¦ and Anthony making sure nobody escaped without joining the fun. πΊ
We have video evidence. Unfortunately for everyone involved. π
Soβ¦ should we keep letting Anthony interview people at conferences, or is it getting dangerous? π | 41 |
| 4 | Thereβs a lot of pressure in tech to create a whole new category. β¨
Meanwhile, Salesforce became Salesforce without inventing CRM.
They entered an existing market where the lower end wasn't being served well and gave those customers a very clear reason to choose them: CRM without needing an IT department to manage the software. π―
They found their corner of the market first. Then they grew from there.
April Dunford uses this example to make a pretty useful point: you don't need a new category to build something huge.
Sometimes a familiar category gives you a much better place to start. π‘
There are more examples like this in the new Adsy Talks, including HubSpot and Snowflake. π

| 9 | π¨ Bad news: Google is gone.
RIP rankings. RIP Search Console refreshes. RIP βlet me Google that.β π
Now what?
At SEO Estonia, we asked five people who spend a lot of time thinking about search where they'd get traffic if Google disappeared tomorrow.
We saved their takes and finally put them all together in one place.
Big thanks to Anni, Greg, Karl, Kristina, and Kyle for answering our little SEO apocalypse question and to SEO Estonia for giving us the chance to meet so many smart people in one place. π
Okay, your emergency plan?
Google disappears tomorrow. Where does your traffic come from? π | 69 |
| 10 | Losing traffic sounds bad. Losing traffic from someone who wanted one quick answer and would've left your site five seconds later?
Maybe not so much π
Zero-click search is changing which visits actually make it to your site.
People who are seriously considering a product can still find you later. They might just take a longer route through Google, ChatGPT, Reddit, reviews, and other places first. ππ€
Belinda Conde talks about this in our latest Adsy Talks episode, and it's a useful reminder not to panic over one metric without looking at the bigger customer journey. π

| 11 | SEO has a lot on its plate already. Asking it to build your whole brand at the same time might be a little unfair π
Useful content, mentions, PR, and visibility across relevant websites all add something SEO alone can't create overnight: familiarity and trust.
Give your SEO some backup.
Adsy helps you get your content onto relevant websites and keep that part of the process a lot less messy. π¦
See how it works for you: https://bit.ly/3SQPj7o | 59 |
| 12 | AI made it easier to publish content. It also made mediocre content much easier to ignore. π
Because now you're competing in a space where AI can look at much more than the page you want it to cite. It can pick up signals from links, PR, search, social, Reddit and the wider web. π
So βlet's publish a bunch of AI articles and optimize them for ChatGPTβ isn't much of a strategy.
Belinda Conde talks about this in the latest Adsy Talks episode, and we really like how she frames AI visibility as something all your marketing contributes to. π§©
You can't shortcut your way to authority. π
There are a lot more examples behind this idea in the full conversation.

| 14 | π SEO is basically a never-ending investigation.
You check the data, find one possible explanation, feel smart for about five minutesβ¦ and then notice something else that makes absolutely no sense.π
And back down the rabbit hole you go. π« π
Anyone working in SEO knows the feeling.
SEO people, are you okay? π | 79 |
| 15 | π€ Everyone keeps asking whether AI is replacing Google.
Belinda Conde's answer is pretty clear: the data doesn't show that.
Traditional search is growing. AI search is growing too. People are simply searching in more places. ππ€
And when you look at an actual consumer journey, it gets even more obvious. Someone can start with Google, jump to Reddit, ask an AI tool, visit a brand website, compare a few options and then come back later to buy.
So maybe the bigger change isn't that search is dying. It's that the old, neat idea of a "search journey" doesn't really describe how people behave anymore. π

| 17 | π New Adsy Talks episode with Belinda Conde is out!
Belinda is SVP Marketing at Datos and Director of DaaS Marketing at Semrush, and she brought a lot of data and strong opinions to this conversation.
We talked about AI vs. Google, zero-click search, messy consumer journeys, attribution, and why Reddit is becoming so important for marketers.
One idea we kept coming back to: traffic can go down while the business is doing better.

| 18 | Your content distribution process might be leaking more than you think. π§
Not necessarily because of one big mistake. More often, itβs a few small gaps:
πΉ choosing sites based on one metric
πΉ working with outdated data
πΉ spending too much time on manual outreach
πΉ focusing on price instead of overall value
πΉ keeping everything scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and different tools
Each one may seem manageable. Together, they can eat up your time, budget, and campaign opportunities.
The fix? Build a workflow where you can find, evaluate, choose, place, and track content without unnecessary friction.
Thatβs exactly what we built Adsy for. π¦
Find relevant sites, compare opportunities, place your content, and manage your campaigns in one place.
