It has been suggested that everyone in the world wants to own a car, a TV, and a fridge. Do you think the disadvantages of such a development outweigh the advantages? In today’s materialistic world, every individual has a desire for a luxurious lifestyle: lavish cars, flat-screen TVs, and other expensive belongings. Although this trend has some advantages, its drawbacks are far more substantial. The benefits of such a luxurious way of living are twofold. One of them is increased efficiency in the day-to-day lives of people. When people own such properties as cars, they can reach their destinations quickly and easily. This saves them time and money to a certain degree. Another positive side of having modern household appliances like refrigerators is flexibility. That is, people may cook more food than enough once a day and keep it in the fridge for the next lunch. As a result, they could engage in their leisure time activities instead of preparing a second meal for their day. However, the downsides of the aspiration for widespread ownership are more significant than the abovementioned conveniences. Firstly, this development is more likely to cause environmental issues. To meet the demand for cars and other household equipment and machines, a lot of resources are utilized, leading to resource depletion. Secondly, the pursuit of ownership may create a noticeable disparity between the rich and the poor. Not everyone has the financial means to afford those kinds of items: automobiles and costly devices. This, in turn, leads to serious social inequalities. In conclusion, owning a car, TV and fridges can offer free time and conveniences for people. However, its disadvantages like running out natural resources and social problems are more significant than its benefits. 🔷@elyorbeks_blog🔷

The leaders or directors of organizations are often older people. But some people say that young people can also be a leader. Do you agree or disagree? In the majority of the current organizations, leadership roles are frequently occupied by people of older age. However, some people challenge this tradition by saying that younger minds can work more effectively in those positions. I agree that the young generation is more skilled and adept at heading the institutions. When controlled by elderly chiefs, companies may gain good results due to two main reasons. One of them is the vast hands-on experience old people bring to the table. Until senior age, older executives tend to have been involved in different working procedures, large-scale projects, and other work-related programs, meaning that they have taken part in or at least witnessed the accomplishment of those cases. Therefore their immense real-life experience is thought to bring out valuable benefits, putting them in high ranks. Secondly, older managers are usually scrupulous in taking risks, considering every outcome behind their decisions. Due to that quality, their careers seem dazzling with fewer failures, making them look more professional and highly successful. In turn, they are frequently viewed as the right fit for high positions in any organization. On the other hand, young and highly motivated individuals could effortlessly perform better than their older counterparts as leaders of the entities. Firstly, the young generation is well-informed and has excellent problem-solving skills. With these abilities, they can come up with innovative solutions for problems of any kind. If they were appointed high-level roles in any organization, they would make unprecedented positive changes for the institutions. Furthermore, young people are more energetic and could outwork the old-aged leaders easily. This is because their thirst for success is far stronger as they have not seen so many accomplishments as the older ones. In effect, they are able to generate more value thanks to their tireless efforts. In conclusion, although the advantages of having old leaders range from extensive work experience to less risky decisions, I consider that problem-solving and diligently industrious young leaders can provide a brighter future for their organizations. 332 words 🔷@elyorbeks_blog🔷
