CBSE to introduce Multiple Board Exams Option :
NEP 2020 implementation is on its way:
1. CBSE to conduct Class X & XII Board exams multiple times (twice-in-a-year) for 2024-25 session.
2. This will be applicable for those students who are in their Class IX & Class XI during current academic session i.e. 2023-24.
3. The first attempt will be held in Nov-Dec 2024 & Second Attempt will be held in Feb-March 2025.
4. The multiple-times board exams option will not be manadatory for students.
5. Students can choose either multiple or single attempt as per their preparation/convenience.
6. Best of both attempts will be considered for the final result declaration and merit/percentage preparation.
7. As of now the current annual format of teaching will continue and the semester-wise teaching won’t be introduced.
8. The text-books by NCERT as per NCF 2023 are being prepared.
9. The aim is to reduce stress on students who fear Misisng out on a single opportunity.
Centre issues guidelines for Coaching centres. Prohibits enrollment of students below 16 years of age.
