Home First’s (HFFC) 1QFY23 performance remains strong following Covid-driven stress in FY2021 and early FY2022. The company has fared well across parameters in 1QFY23 with decline in reported borrowing cost despite sharp rise in benchmark interest rates. We remain assertive on the affordable home loan opportunity and Home First’s ability to capitalize on the same. Our estimates reflect some caution from impact of higher rates on bulk borrowers and HFFC’s below prime customers. Retain BUY; FV Rs970.
*Sona BLW Precision (CMP: Rs564, upgrade to REDUCE, FV: Rs550):* In-line revenue print; margins bottoming out
Sona Comstar reported an in-line quarter with revenue growth of 18% yoy partly impacted by supply woes and Covid lockdowns. EBITDA margin declined by 350 bps yoy mainly on account of RM inflation and we expect margin trajectory to improve going forward given the recent correction in commodity prices. Medium-term growth prospects remain strong led by strong new order wins across segments. Upgrade to REDUCE given recent correction in stock price.
