Telegram's Upcoming IPO Unveiled in BCS Presentation Investment firm BCS has presented an update on Telegram's Pre-IPO. The document reveals Telegram's plan to go public in Q2 or Q3 of 2025. An Initial Public Offering (IPO) is the process of a company making its shares available to the public for the first time. In this case, Telegram intends to offer its shares to the public for purchase. BCS offers pre-IPO investors convertible bonds from Telegram Group Inc. (through a Cyprus subsidiary), with a minimum investment of $9,500, and a 7% annual yield. These bonds mature on April 22, 2026, with IPO conversion options at discounted rates: • 10% if IPO precedes March 2024. • 15% if IPO precedes March 2025. • 20% if IPO precedes March 2026. The presentation also outlines Telegram's potential future monetization strategies, including ads in Stories, 2023 premium team features, and fintech services for India, facilitating P2P and P2M transactions. In 2021, Telegram issued bonds worth $1.75 billion, and an additional $270 million bond issuance was announced by Pavel Durov in July 2023.
