In the long run, " Time in the Markets" is more profitable than trying to " Time the Markets".
I have to admit that timing the market is one of the most fun things you can try to do, If you get it right once, you feel really smart and you get it right a couple of times and you feel like a market genius. Then you become overconfident, and you miss-time once, and you destroy all earlier profits you made.
If you resists the overwhelming temptation to outsmart the market and simply buy great companies (when they drop below intrinsic value) and DO NOTHING, you will outperform the markets by a wide margin.
It is such a simple concept. But very very few get it.
