Other 5 slokas from गणेश खंड of the same puran enumerates the names of 28 sages also named Kanada. THIRD LAW OF MOTION: Action (Karya) is opposed by karma (Action). It clearly shows that every action there is equal and opposite reaction. It means Newton law are not new for the world it exists in Hindu literature only. Also this proves that (the scientist who consider some apes to be their ancestors Like) Newton didn't gave anything new to physics he just copied the same thing from Acharaya Kanada's literature that he read during the British influence in Aryavarta.

From particular effort (force x time) results particular impulse (change of momentum). From that particular impulse results the particular jumping (rising) or a particular momentum produces a particular rise of projectile. Hence this given statements of Kannad also stand identical to second law of motion, where change in momentum (m.∆v) with respect to time is same as Force itself!

SECOND LAW OF MOTION: In the absence of a particular impulse the upward & sideward movement is not possible i.e. the projectile can not move upwards unless there is an impulse created. (impulse = change in momentum) as Nodana.

Residing in dravya, not possessing guna, and (when independent) not being a cause of contact or disjunction are the features of guna i.e. conjunctions and disjunctions being caused by force, and that force is not the body itself. The body only possesses its own qualities. Hence the first law of motion by Issac Newton is identical with the given statements of Sri Kannad Acharya, let move on to second one.

FIRST LAW OF MOTION: Karma is the common cause of conjunction, disjunction and motion i.e. force is a push or a pull. Karma is not (a cause) of dravya. It means that force is external not by the body itself.

Vaiseshika Sutras are a blend of science, philosophy and religion. He opens many concepts of science with the help of Veda. Believing that all living beings are composed of five elements i.e. water, fire, Earth, Air, Ether. Moreover Sri Acharya Kannad has composed Laws of motion way before than Newton.
