• That's what Brahmamuni wrote in his nirukta sammarsha commentary. He elaborated the explanation based on one of the yajuh mantra which refers to the association of Mitravaruna with rain. • Durgacharya vritti also referred to Urvashi as vidyut.

Indeed we'll be explaining the meaning of this mantra as explained by purvacharyas. Acharya Skandaswami ji wrote that Urvashi refers to vidyut (electricity/lightning) and Vasistha refers to hidden collected water. Mitra and Varuna are air and sun respectively, and Vishvadeva is light rays. The water on earth is drawn upwards due to sun and air therefore, it has been referred to as Maitravaruna (born from Mitra and Varuna). Here kumbha has been interpreted as Pushkara which refers to water and antariksha (space/atmosphere). But here it has been referred to as antariksha. So the virya of Mitra and Varuna (rainwater) is held up in the atmosphere.

Rock painting from Adamgarh Rock Shelter ( Shelter No 10)  in Madhya Pradesh, hope ASI has still preserved it. The painting is more than 10000 years old! and the last photograph taken by UPenn archeologists. It shows a Giraffe like animal being hunted by people riding a horse! This completely busts the misconception that horses were introduced in 3500 years, Horse was present in Bharat 10000 years ago.! Mathpal has described this in the book. This Rock painting is said to be of a Giraffe or a Shivatherium.
