My point was that the feature on ff cameras and the pixel is the same. One just has better control over it’s sensor moving around. In fact the pixel moves it’s lens, not it’s sensor. But if you label one as « software trickery », you should call the other that as well.

In recent 8.4 CVM updates you can manually switch video profile. Navigate to Aux&Api2 settings - under various settings you'll see manual video profile input block. You can type in desired profile, for example: // videoCodec * use HEVC(5) // videoCodecProfile * use HEVCProfileMain(1) // videoCodecLevel * use HEVCMainTierLevel51(65536) so put in manual field = 5,1,65536 To learn more about profiles (and their respective numbers you may check google source
