| 2 | 🎮 Microsoft is preparing to end Xbox disc production, following Sony's lead. The company is quietly developing a "Disc2Digital" feature to convert physical Xbox One and Xbox Series X games into digital licenses. Tests are currently underway. This feature will not support Xbox 360 or original Xbox titles.
1) Conversion Process
Users insert a compatible disc, install, and launch the game. The digital license attaches to their Microsoft account. If the physical disc is sold or lent, the license transfers to the new owner upon launch.
2) Compatibility
Digital versions function like Microsoft Store purchases. Xbox Play Anywhere titles will be available on PC and handhelds. Game Pass subscribers can access copies via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Multi-disc editions and console bundles retain all bonus content. Note that some older Xbox One discs may not be supported depending on manufacturing date.

Since OnePlus and Realme are being fully consolidated into the core OPPO brand, the Oplus group'# next big move is software, not hardware: one Android skin across 3 brands, no exceptions.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, OxygenOS and Realme UI are being Discontinued in favour of ColorOS and going forward it will now be present on all OnePlus and Realme smartphones.
OnePlus website atleast in Germany, France, Spain etc now advises users to check Oppo products and is even offering coupons to users if they buy Oppo products.
OnePlus is narrowing its focus to its two biggest markets, India and China. Realme is winding down its China business to concentrate fully on markets outside it. OnePlus’s after sales support in India has already been folded into OPPO’s service network and most of the OnePlus Store have also been shut down in India.

This also means that Apple is stopping its reliance on a single supplier which would help in breaking the monopoly as well as reduce prices in the future.

A video has been leaked in BetaWiki's Discord server, which was recorded sometime in 2024, suggesting that Microsoft has explored a dedicated AI OS.
Project Aion uses Win3 and the Edge browser, and the UI is centered on Copilot. There is a Copilot-based start menu, and an input box where you can search files, launch apps and browse the web.
The taskbar has a "Spaces" feature which groups open apps together. Aion is built around the web and does not run native Windows apps. There's probably also a version of Aion running on top of Windows 11, which supports native Windows apps.

Claude Fable 5 will be available globally from today. However, Anthropic says that "some routine tasks" like "coding" and "debugging" will fall back to Opus 4.8. This means, coding and debugging are simply routine tasks in the eyes of Anthropic and thus will utilize Opus 4.8 instead.
Additionally, Anthropic also notes that the "Fable 5 will be included for up to 50% of weekly usage limits through July 7, after which it will be available via usage credits"
Atp, I have more respect for OpenAI now than whatever bs Anthropic does.
