P1- Being the last person in the interview do you think it'll benefit you or it'll be a problem? Mostly conventional questions were asked and nothing related to Undergraduation or Work Ex were asked. Overall it was a pleasant experience, the panel was chill and helping in every answer. It wasn't a stressed interview. #CAP @CATGDPI

IIMK 19th Feb Mumbai - afternoon slot I was second in my panel, panel 3 WAT: $300 B Climate Finance Commitment at Baku - A way forward or too little too late Panel - 2 Males, both in their 50s probably I brought my creative resume but M1 said we didn’t ask for it so i smiled and said its like an introduction i bring to an interview. He said ok i will not look at it but later looked at it while I was talking to M2 anyway😂☺️ M1 1. TMAY (cut me off 1-2 times) 2. ⁠You must be expecting design questions? I said the process is so random so I am not expecting anything but I did prepare my best 3. ⁠What is seam allowance (I drew on paper to explain) 4. ⁠What is the process of garment construction (I was gonna explain on paper but he said why do you need paper do you think we won’t understand or you can’t explain, i said visual aids are better but i can explain without it) 5. ⁠What is the difference between Fashion Design and Merchandising? 6. ⁠What is flat pattern making? 7. ⁠Pointed to my creative resume and said tell me the design element in this. (Basically its an attempt to introduce my world on a paper) 8. ⁠Vice president of India (I said I think before my answer and said i am kinda bad with names so just on the safer side, he was like you will not be good at management then but I said I can practice and become better) 9. ⁠Any one deputy prime minister of India (didn’t know, so he said you can’t even name one in 75 years :P) 10. ⁠Governor of RBI (he double checked ki Sanjay or Sanjiv and then cz i said i am sure he was like you’re gonna curse yourself if its wrong and i just laughed lol) **Also asked why MBA at some point M2 1. Tell us about your job 2. ⁠Is it related to your degree? (No) So did you abandon your studies? (Prepared answer, no cross question) 3. ⁠Did you study math in your UG? (I said no only 11/12) 4. ⁠Are you comfortable with stats and probability? (I said very basic, been over 6 years) 5. ⁠What is a bell curve 6. ⁠How is represented mathematically (Said i don’t know) 7. ⁠okay tell me what it represents (gave income example) 8. ⁠What is Mean and Std deviation (explained) 9. ⁠Std deviation formula? 10. ⁠konkan states (Again i said the right answer but said confused if karnataka is also there or not) **Which places in India have you been to? 11. ⁠Which state was Jharkhand part of (right answer with i think) 12. ⁠Are you sure? I said yes mostly and then started remembering other states but he said issok 13. ⁠Can’t AI overtake content writers (accuracy, tone, emotion etc. mentioned and said writers will eventually become editors) 14. ⁠Bias in AI, how does it happen (deepseek example and training data, gave example that if you ask it to give you a business person it will most likely show a man which is what’s more widely available on the internet) Thats all. Complimented my resume and asked me to take it back + thank you + take a toffee Duration: 13-15 min They were trying to stress me out or just put me in a spot but I didn’t really let it get to me. #IIMK @CATGDPI

Then their eyes fell on my UG score...had told the reason why I score low. F1: Tell me some companies which hire for chemical. Told. These are all big names..so why didn't you go for them. SK: Told that I had no interest, and I was sure that it's not my cup of tea. F1(with a smile): How sure are you of your MBA? SK: Told prepared answer for why MBA F1: How were your other interviews? SK: IIM Raipur was good..having C tomorrow F1: Acha, ATB for your C. Tell me a few qns which you werent able to answer in Raipur. SK: Thought for a while and told that I was able to answer everything. Kinda Convinced, Male(25YO) Said you can't sell me toffee for 10rs as it is illegal. I said that the supreme court allows hotels and restaurants to sell more than MRP as they provide experience too . There have been cases when hotels reached SC, and SC permitted. Both disagreed. (Male got aggressive and said I will pay if they charge you for more than MRP) I said sorry, I could be wrong. (I might might have raised my voice a bit...as the female was asking me to calm down, I calmed down, I was smiling all of the time, and she ended the discussion and asked What is STP? explain with example. Took an example of Toffee, convinced) What is Perfect competition? Told Monopolistic competition (answered wrong) What is Monopoly? Give example?told,Gave of SET exam in US. Weren't convinced. GK- Governor of UP?told Name any other Governor. Told initials of Delhi. What is the real name of Yogi? Didn't know Name the 3 UNESCO world heritage sites in Agra/UP. Told Their significance? Told of 1. Religious significance of Mahakumbh? Told astrological Revenue through Mahakumbh? Didn't know Male(25 YO) was Totally grilling highly from the start, the female (40 was chill) didn't ask much. questions sequence was. Male was fierce since the start. The conversation was very very interesting, they were asking for everyone's file, they asked for mine too, and asked me to show, I gave, but they didn't open because the conversation was very interesting at that moment, they were engaged in talking.
