Microsoft announced on Thursday that it will be "carbon negative" by 2030.
By “carbon negative” - they mean they will pay companies to build monstrosities like in the image, and they’ve created a $1 billion fund to "accelerate the global development of carbon reduction, capture, and removal technologies."
Welcome to 2023, where mining, refining, manufacturing, and installing such contraptions then running them continuously is somehow considered to be so good for the environment that they have surplus benefits which they are allowed to sell as “carbon credits.”

Permaculture food forests are intentionally cultivated forest gardens. They contain native and cultivated plants which provide yields for humans and ecological functions.
What are the Benefits of a Food Forest?
- Food Forests design focuses on plant communities that are edible, medicinal, and enhance the local environment
- A food forest design is low maintenance and can be applied in all bioregions.
- Food Forests are a sustainable way to produce nourishing, healthy, and organic food
- Improve yields result from the thoughtful design of a food forest.
Oregon State University are offering an awesome online expert-led course. You will learn about the considerations for creating a food forest in your specific climate. Videos, articles, and exercises will help you discover plants for your food forest and learn how to build relationships between them to increase productivity.

Story text in English:
CO2 certificates: Green camouflage
Companies around the world are relying on compensation to achieve their climate goals. They have apparently been buying themselves out for years with certificates that save much less CO2 than promised. The story of a global scandal.
- - -
The organization that secures the success of companies worldwide is not world-famous. It sits in a sterile office complex in the center of Washington, D.C., where not even the doorman knows its name.
"V-E-R-R-A?"
He flips through the tenant list. "Unit 1050, tenth floor."
Nothing about the bare hallway on the tenth floor looks like one is entering the realm of an NGO that rules over a billion-dollar market. Yet managers of companies from around the world rely on the people in Unit 1050: Gazprom in Russia, Apple in the US, Volkswagen in Germany.
The organization claims that with the money from the companies, it fights the climate crisis. Its promise is that for every ton of CO2 that companies do not save, others will save it for them. In times when managers and executives proclaim climate goals, this is a tempting offer. Companies can pay for a climate protection project somewhere in the world to save emissions that they produce by extracting gas, building cars, making computers. Each ton of CO2 is sold as a certificate.
On paper, it is a deal in which everyone wins. Because the atmosphere doesn't care if the emissions decrease on the Volkswagen factory grounds or in a forest in Zimbabwe. As long as they decrease.
All that needs to be done is for someone to guarantee that the CO2 is actually saved.
That is why there are the people from Unit 1050. They work for the world's leading certifier of CO2 compensations, Verra. 75% of all emissions on the voluntary - that is, non-state - compensation market, which is what this is about, are saved under their supervision. They make the rules. They turn companies that harm the climate into companies that practice sustainable business.
Four parties are involved in this deal. There are, firstly, buyers of CO2 certificates, companies like Volkswagen, who want to buy themselves out of their own pollution. Then there are, secondly, the traders, mostly start-ups or consulting firms, who broker and sell the certificates and make a lot of money from it. Thirdly, there are the project operators, who ensure that certificates even come onto the market - by saving CO2, for example, because a piece of rainforest is not logged as planned. The project operators also profit from the deal. And fourthly, above everyone, there are the certifiers, who decide how many certificates the projects are allowed to claim. In three out of four cases worldwide, this task is taken on by the organization Verra. They have a supervisory role, but they are not a government agency. They are responsible for ensuring that a certificate is only issued if CO2 is actually saved.
For years, thousands of companies worldwide have been able to announce large and small climate successes because of them. For example, the Walt Disney Corporation boasts that it has halved its emissions since 2012.
Audi celebrates the development of its first CO2-neutral electric cars.
Gucci announces to operate completely climate neutral.
McKinsey, Netflix, Zalando too.
So much progress. So much success, everywhere.
What if much of it is not real?

German newspaper “Zeit” evaluated data from studies suggesting that over 90% of the CO2 certificates from the projects analyzed were worthless: "A bubble of junk."
This is why we founded our company - to provide REAL solutions that help human civilization care for the Earth in verifiably beneficial ways.
In the meantime, we will watch them stumble over their own greed:

Jacques Fresco was well respected until he began to speak out against the system.
Here he was interviewed by Larry King in 1974, but he was too much for Larry King to handle!
@CarbonCaptureShield
Jacques Fresco's key tenets for creating a sustainable and equitable society are:
A resource-based economy: A governance system that rationally and sustainably manages resources to ensure access to what is needed for a fulfilling life, instead of relying on money and markets.
Advanced technology: The use of technology, such as automation and robotics, to improve the quality of life and decrease the need for human labor.
Scientific management: Decision-making based on scientific understanding and rational planning, instead of politics, greed, or tradition.
Elimination of poverty, unemployment, and scarcity: By implementing a resource-based economy and advanced technology, it would be possible to eliminate poverty, unemployment, and scarcity.
Environmental protection and sustainability: Harnessing resources and technology in harmony with the environment to preserve ecological balance.
Education and self-actualization: Prioritizing education, research, and self-actualization to allow for growth and development of one's full potentials.

We are the seeds they thought they could bury, but they didn’t realize the power of the earth to sustain us. Every obstacle is just more fertilizer for our growth.
We must learn from every fall and take note of every success. We will not be discouraged by the dirt that is piled upon us, but will keep reaching for the light.
Nature is our ally, and we must call upon her to support and sustain us.
Like plants, we must form symbiotic relationships and give back more than we take. We must honor our roots and draw upon the nutrients of the earth, while always striving for growth and progress.
As we enter a new year, let us remember the natural cycles of our world and our place within it. From the earth we come, and to the earth we will return. But in the meantime, let us strive to create a paradise on Earth through our actions and creations.
We have found the way, and it’s up to us to find the will.
Happy New Year.

🇪🇺 EU Member States Agree Details of World-First Carbon Tax
Environmental regulators and ministers from across the bloc signed off on the introduction the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), a tool that will force foreign importers to cover the cost of their carbon emissions, after the deal was provisionally agreed on Tuesday.
The deal, a central part of the EU’s strategy to reduce its carbon emissions to net zero by 2050, is expected to be formally agreed by leaders at the European Council and adopted into EU law by the European parliament before coming into force in 2026.

Chloroplast streaming is a phenomenon in which the chloroplasts within plant cells move along the cytoplasm, usually in response to changes in light intensity.
Chloroplasts are the organelles within plant cells that are responsible for photosynthesis, which is the process by which plants use light energy to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose (a sugar) and oxygen.
Chloroplasts are moved along the cytoplasm by a process called cyclosis, which involves the movement of organelles within a cell. Cyclosis is driven by the movement of microtubules, which are thin, rod-like structures that make up the cytoskeleton of a cell.
The movement of chloroplasts within plant cells is thought to be regulated by a variety of factors, including light intensity, temperature, and the availability of nutrients. When the light intensity increases, for example, the chloroplasts in a plant cell may move towards the light to optimize their exposure to it.
Chloroplast streaming can be observed in living plant cells using a microscope. When viewed under a microscope, chloroplasts can be seen moving along the cytoplasm in a smooth, continuous motion.
The movement of chloroplasts within plant cells is also thought to be important for the distribution of nutrients and waste products within the cell. By moving through the cytoplasm, chloroplasts can come into contact with other organelles and exchange substances with them.
Chloroplast streaming may also play a role in the response of plants to environmental stressors, such as extreme temperature fluctuations or changes in light intensity.
By moving within the cell, chloroplasts may be able to adjust their position to optimize their exposure to light or protect themselves from damaging conditions.

Zoologists have proven that earthen bumblebees are able to play. In experiments, insects rolled wooden balls, even if they did not receive any reward for this. The behavior of the bumblebees met all the criteria of the game: in particular, it was spontaneous and voluntary. This is one of the first evidence that insects are able to play.

Farmers regularly use glyphosate on crops such as wheat, oats, edible beans and other crops right before harvest.
The pre-harvest use of glyphosate allows farmers to harvest crops as much as two weeks earlier than they normally would, an advantage in northern, colder regions.
According to a wheat farmer in Saskatchewan, desiccating wheat with glyphosate is commonplace in his region.
“I think every non-organic farmer in Saskatchewan uses glyphosate on most of their wheat acres every year,” the farmer speaking on condition of anonymity said.

This brilliant article shares how exposure to Green Light can relieve pain for up to 4-days.
This helps with fibromyalgia patients, migraines, back pain, arthritis, and has been suggested for use in post-surgery patients to reduce dependency on pain killers!
Isn’t it amazing that walking through a forest or green field freely gives us what big pharma charges larges sums for?
No wonder they want our work silenced - as humans healing nature would synergistically heal humans. This is how nature operates.
Such symbiosis would remove many levers of manipulation and profit for those who seek to control. This is why we’re at war with nature.
But - science is catching up!
Enjoy this article, and go get some natural pain relief!

It was just pointed out to us - not only was our post deleted and our account PERMANENTLY BANNED from the Permaculture Subreddit…
But they also went through and DELETED ALL OF OUR REPLIES in the comments…
We spent hours crafting logically sound replies to the hate we were getting - and they left the hate while deleting our replies.
Thankfully, we archived much of our replies, and hope to share our story in future class-action lawsuits.
Farmers are being taken advantage of by fertilizer companies - and we’re being actively censored from exposing it - across multiple platforms.
They thought they could bury us, not realizing we were seeds…
